Not quite, its more based on warhammer, and it doesnt have all sorts of 'cutesy" races.
Cat race in wow = saberon

Bud, what drugs are you on?
It is 3000% a D&D base. Like, to the point it’s a ripoff.
Google dnd goblins and dnd orcs, then compare then to wow, i will wait
I’ve been saying for ages they should just borrow the hrothgar from final fantasy. They’d fit in better on Azeroth anyway. Just call them saberon and ignore those ugly things in draenor.
They’ve got you covered.

Gnomes are a 1:1 copy
So are dwarves
So are the elves
So are LITERALLY ALL THE CLASSES AND THEIR FUNCTIONS (sans demon hunter)
Let’s stop pretending.
Is that his brother?
Those existed before dnd, you know that right? like, lord of the rings is a thing
Yes, they existed before DnD. They were not fleshed out cultures like they became in DnD though.
And the way they are in WoW is almost identical to DnD.
And, again, quite literally every class (sans DH, but you could make an argument for blood hunter) is literally copy-pasted from DnD.
So wow did not copy dnd, glad we establish that out.
Quite literally they arent.
you mean, wow use basic rpg class system, that dnd also uses?
Im shocked
Even the names are the same bud.
Okay, so go read the player’s handbook on gnomes. Then read the WoW description for gnomes. Tell me they aren’t the same thing.
Like FFXIV It would be good, although I’d prefer something like the Thundercats, something a little more human, although the closest thing here are the Draenor ones, similar to the Worgens but in cats and from the Horde.
But it will work; Vulpera and Lizardpeople haven’t been popular lately.
ah yes, let me check
Dnd → Fighter
WoW → Warrior
Dnd → Ranger
Wow → Hunter
Dnd → Wizard
Wow → Mage
Dnd → Cleric
Wow → Priest
Wow:
Though small in stature, the clever gnomes of Khaz Modan have used their great intellect to secure a place in history. Their subterranean kingdom of Gnomeregan is a marvel of steam-driven technology, and their skill at both engineering and the arcane arts has been a tremendous benefit to the Alliance across numerous campaigns.
Dnd:
A constant hum of busy activity pervades the warrens and neighborhoods where gnomes form their close-knit communities. Louder sounds punctuate the hum: a crunch of grinding gears here, a minor explosion there, a yelp of surprise or triumph, and especially bursts of laughter. Gnomes take delight in life, enjoying every moment of invention, exploration, investigation, creation, and play.
Quite different, gnomes in wow are more arcane and heavily tech based.
In dnd gnomes are more about exploring, stealth, inventions, illusion magic, hell, one of their subraces is fores gnomes, quite distant from wow gnomes, and the rock gnomes arent even that close
the only way i’d like this, is if they were well balanced between “cute” and “cool”. The Archage cat-people weren’t bad. or something like Khajit, with non-human legs.
I am once again asking for Night Elf Worgen who can have animal traits in their elf form like Malfurion does.
I want anime cat boys.
I am a goat, and I’m adorable, thank you!
/WAGGLE
I’d play exclusively vulpera if they either were Alliance or had pally.
Warlock, paladin, rogue, druid, monk.
I’m really sorry to tell you this but your run is over. It was a good one for sure but it’s over now.
