Give Night Elf skin colors and hairstyles to Nightborne

The hair glow is something I want and have said my feedback on in other nightborne threads. That doesn’t mean they shouldn’t get more baseline hair diversity. Looking at void elves they took a bunch from blood elves so it wouldn’t be a problem. Nightborne were literally night elves before they changed so even lorewise it would make sense for them to have all those options.

I view it more on the line they were indeed changed so they are unique to Aezroth should have their own line of hair style and color.

This was the case for void elves too prior to all the high elf threads wanting natural void elf hair colors. These would be natural for the nightborne since they have shared ancestry. Right now the only hair color’s that feel natural to them are the white hair colors. The night elves have more high saturation colors that match there skin palettes. The pinks/purples/light blue/ light greens would go well with the new skin tones such as the dark green, the dark almost black purple, and the light grey skin tones they added.

The Void Elf didn’t take from Blood Elves and while the Nightborne are connected to the Night Elf in bloodline they were separated from them and insulated from the outside on their own for many years. They are far removed from everything that makes a Night Elf today and evolved to what they are today as Nightborne. It’s two totally separate things at this point in time.

This is a good point, maybe in the future they would change to have the traits of years past but I don’t think it would now but that is something for blizzard to consider.

They just added that stuff for void elves now… just because players wanted it. Anyway’s it’s hair dye. Not like they can’t use some leftover that are used on other races

Well, wouldn’t that spoil the uniqueness? If everyone had the same colors across the elvan race there wouldn’t be those that stand out.

I mean, maybe in the future IF the Nightborne actually went correctly to the Alliance and they reconnected and they could kind of merge back with each other in a sense and gain some of each other’s new ways of life. Share in that reconnection.

Since Blizzard screwed it all up again and gave Horde the Elves I don’t really see how that happens. It could have a better chance happening with Blood Elves maybe.

Of course, lore in a game like this is pretty much a farce it can be manipulated to almost anything. Tomorrow Blizzard could say Chromie Time is messed up and Horde designated races are now Alliance and Alliance designated race is Horde, there’s almost nothing they couldn’t manipulate in one way or another if their agenda desired it and so… people who believe in the lore as gospel are like children who believe in Santa Clause. Of course it could still happen if they wanted to make it happen. It wouldn’t be the first time and won’t be the last time something absurd and ridiculous becomes a reality and part of “lore”.

One of the few things I have left in this game is the Night Elf, it’s like my safe space. I’d just like if the universe leaves Night Elves alone. I’m putting that on the record just for my own sanity. I don’t expect Blizzard to give a damn and would probably expect Nightborne and Blood Elf to have a Night Elf overhaul announced by the new year.

Yeah,at this point, like what my bro said don’t follow the lore in wow too closely that would change and sure enough over the years ,it has done just that. :pensive:

Some of the NElf customizations do not match the Nightborne aesthetic.

There is no Alleria equivalent among the Shal’dorei

That was already spoiled with void elves getting the direct blood elf looks. And it’s silly to lock out someone’s hair color when you got hair dyes of all the races on the same barbershop npc.

Night Elves are giving away their fangs?

Farodin and the moonguard should formerly join the nightborne as they helped out a bunch.

I don’t think anyone wants NE fangs, well i could be wrong in that regard, lol.

Totally would want them.

Venthry? booo,vampire!

This is probably the most ridiculous one I’ve seen yet. The Nightborne are unique and shouldn’t have to resemble a night elf. Why do you think the races are separated to begin with? If one thing, the should stay as close resemblance to the NPC models instead. Just cause the Void elves got lucky doesn’t mean the Nightborne should too. We don’t need more elves resembling there faction counterparts. Otherwise, all the other races might as well be multi-factional like the Pandaren.

Blood Elves could use that too.

Forgot Nightborne were playable Horde units in the RTS games that remained NPCs for almost twenty years for the Horde.

And that there are Night Elves studying the arcane under the Nightborne joining their ranks.
Oh.
