Give Interrupts 1 dmg

That is about the dumbest DPS I’ve ever heard of, and I don’t doubt you.

You, the healer have the group members targeted, to heal them. The DPS already have the caster targeted, but can’t be bothered to press one button that doesn’t do damage?

By that logic, they probably aren’t using damage mitigation or enrage removal either, as those buttons do no damage. This only makes the job of healing more difficult. Bad players are just terrible these days…

I’d be more worried about the poisons than the fears, but you’re right, Brack does suck.

Mitigation isnt in their vocabulary from my experience, lol.
I doubt a lot of DPS even bothers to carry a few healing potions in their bags.
Even in non M+ content players should have a few just for those cases where too much was pulled and the healer literally doesnt have enough output to keep anyone from dying.

“its the healers job…”
No…this is a GROUP effort. Sometimes the healer gets overwhelmed because of rushy tanks and circus show DPS players pulling everything in sight and someone MIGHT need to actually break a nail and use an interrupt or pop a potion. lol.

and they call this game an MMO, lmao

I’d be very upset on my mage if a Radiant Spark charge was wasted by my counterspell doing direct damage

I’ve been saying this for years at this point. But it never sinks in.

Do people really care about their meters this much? Especially in a normal/heroic?

I’m always a lot more interested in winning than running though my rotation as many times as possible. I did Brackenhide last night and was always watching to interrupt casters that were not with the group and killing the runaways. I even had to off heal and battle rez the tank when the healer fell behind for a minute.

I thought this was just how the game was played in group content. Better that my meters be lower than the whole run fail because I won’t pay attention to what’s going on.

I play heals and even the dps are doing its job ill interrupt spell casts

You aint special for being “forced” ro do it

That happens in normal and heroic too. Maybe even more often than mythic since people don’t talk and coordinate at all in those tiers really.

I always do by best to interrupt but sometimes it’s on CD. I even took (the not very optimal) stormbolt for the ranged stun so I can have an extra one but there is only so much I can do. Especially if a tank chain pulls dozens of mobs, multiple of which who fear, I can’t be on all of them at once.

I know there are a lot of doofs and derps out there, but its not always the DPSs fault. There are plenty of people that try their best too. :upside_down_face:

Odds are if its a normal/heroic the dps and tank either dont know whats causing it, dont care, or dont have the reflexes to do so in bigger pulls. If you want to play dungeons at a level where most everyone knows whats up, harder difficulties are your best bet. You arent going to find gordon ramsay at a mcdonalds.

Awful idea, that’d make it so CC like Freezing Trap or Poly wouldn’t be able to be used as pseudo-interrupts.

I do agree there is a problem with tunnel-visioned DPS only focusing on that one particular thing, despite the fact there are mechanics that need doing.

As a result of this, I’ve become kind of a “risky” interrupter- I’ll wait until the cast is BARELY about to go off (within 1 to 0.5 seconds left, realizing no one else has kicked it) and I’ll throw out a stun or something of my own if interrupt is on cooldown, but usually I’ll save it as a backup interrupt since mine has a 24 second cooldown, or something like that. Other classes have more spam-able interrupts than my own.

Same here when I’m in resto. Bind your interrupt to a mouseover macro and throw them out as needed.

With how much healers cry about having to do anything in this game

I’m surprised anyone expects healer pugs to interrupt

Huh? I understand being annoyed with people not interrupting, but you’re making it sound like you don’t normally take interrupt as a Prevoker in dungeons. You should, regardless. And you don’t have to give up renewing blaze to get it.

This is def an issue. Main reason I use a group int tracking add on. Otherwise I play “let me hold mine till the last second and make sure someone else isnt gonna int so mine is up when everyone elses is down”. And its not a fun game.

Im starting to get alergic to these moronic god-complexed, never wrong, zero mistakes, horse higher than a skyscraper, biggest balls healers that DF starting to pump out for some reason.

Yes dungeons got harder.
No you cannot stand afk like a monkey and do nothing as a healer anymore.
Yes, you should get over youself, your nothing all that special and can do mistakes too.
Yes, you should use your entire toolkit to make sure the group succed.

Go look at the builds for Prevoker Rogue. None of them take Quell. I take it so I have an interrupt. Would be less annoying if it was a baseline power rather than a perk choice.

This is why battle.net accounts need to be shown so you cant hide behind a pathetic alt. Its not a god complex to want people to interrupt so you dont get feared into other mobs.

Literally everyone takes it for dungeons. I also play evoker, and I run with Evoker all the time. They all take it.

There’s a dungeon build for you, you must be running raid talents.

M+ builds do raiding builds do not.

We’re talking about a dungeon, why do raid builds matter?
