Give Blood Elves Blue Eyes

That doesn’t even follow the hash job that is the current retcon. The Sunwell wasn’t even corrupted with fel energies, which is what mutated the color of your eyes (and if you get upset at the word “mutated”, changing eye colors is a simple mutation). The Sunwell was corrupted by Necromantic magics, which falls under the Death sphere of magic, not Fel.

Originally, Blizzard stated that all Blood Elves, from the most powerful to the very meek, in Quel’thalas used Fel magic techniques to siphon magic from living creatures. This has been hack-job retconned into the crap we have now, but that’s why we’re here. Kael’thas had “found” a way for the Elves to keep their addition managed through Fel techniques.

As for you being “High Elves”, you’re confusing political stances with physiology. “High Elf” is the name of the group of Elves still loyal to the Alliance, and those who never utilized Fel magic, and thus never had their eyes turn green. You’re an Elf, but the name of your race isn’t “High Elf”.

Come on over. We don’t bite…much.

If anything your post should be reported. It’s really a shame that helfers can’t deal with people who want something as simple as a cosmetic option. It doesn’t threaten your helfer topic and now it’s just getting petty.

Let’s please keep asking for this and not be intimidated by the bullying tactics of some helfers.

It’s just an Allied Race.

Ehhh, that was not a good move.

Big no no. Alliance should get High Elves and you can join them for your blue eyes. Or play a BE DK.

But I want my elf to have gray eyes.

this is not a thread about “high elves” or w.e youre talking about

now that the Blood Elves can tap into a Sunwell and no longer tap into fel magic. their eye color should revert back to normal blues and other variations

No. That is the way of the past. The Blood Elves path on forward, we don’t go back to the past

If you want blue eyes and to betray everything the Blood Elves stand for, I hear the Alliance is open to you!

what does the fact that the blood elves are tapping into a new sunwell and flushing out the fel magic fallout that they used to rebuild silvermoon have to do with going back to the past or the alliance?

Sunwell’s got holy energy in it now. So gold eyes are the future, what with, y’know, that whole raid.

Blue eyes are the ways of the High Elves who are a bunch of Alliance-loving traitors. If you want blue eyes, you spit on the legacy of the Sin’dorei. Please turn yourself into the nearest Arcane Guardian and advising these anti-Sin’dorei thoughts you’re having.

its actually light/arcane empowered now. so if you want to get technical they should have a color between blue and gold :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

It inevitably becomes a thread about High Elves though, because if BE had blue eyes then there’d be even less chance for HE for Alliance. Gold and green are enough for BEs.

"Fine, fine. you attack the darkness. There’s an elf in front of you.

“Woah!”

“That’s me, right?”

“he’s wearing ah, ah, a brown tunic and he has gray hair, and blue eyes”

“No I don’t I have gray eyes.”

“Let me see that sheet.”

“Well it says I, it says I have blue, But I, I decided I wanted gray eyes.”

“Whatever. Okay you guys can talk to each other now if you want.”

“Hello!”

“Hello!”

“I am Galstaff, sorcerer of light!”

“Then how come you had to cast magic missile?”

Why is this flagged as spam? I find it a great idea. Im all for blue eyes for Blood Elves. The sunwell is both Arcane and Holy/Light so it makes sense.

Which is green. Oh wait…

Blue eyes would be appropriating Void Elf culture.

Dude, you need to learn you lore.

Blood Elves are High Elves. There is no difference. High Elf also doesn’t mean a race that stay true to the Alliance. After the attack on Quel’Thalas, there is a couple of situations that has happened that placed us Elves on Horde:

  • We tried to rejoin the Alliance, but we were only to be met with hostility. The Alliance didn’t want us.
  • We only renamed ourselves to Blood Elf or Sin’dorei to honor our fallen.

But in the end, we’re still High Elves. Blood, Skin, Hair, Looks.
