the majority of them never even tapped into fel. the green eyes were explained as fallout from lingering fel magic used during the reconstruction of silvermoon. now theres a new sunwell and we finally got gold eyes. o-k…

but still no blue? you would think that with this new sunwell to tap into their eyes would lose the green and revert back to blue or whatever their natural color was

please blizzard consider adding eye color choice customization for blood elves beyond gold and green!

This should not be allowed to be hidden. Shame on the false flaggers here! Your request is most certainly legitimate. Blood Elves should get blue as well as other eye color options as should all races.

Heck, I’d be happy if they’d just separate eye color (at least those races who have multiple eye color options) from the face choice to allow at least a little more customization >_>

pretty much…I’m fairly confident they’re holding on to Alliance-loyal high elves as a sort of cash grab ace in the hole probably in the next expansion if they continue to lose subs.

Despite the players who constantly go 'Ion said no! Get over it!" what he ACTUALLY said was “Anything’s possible in the future, but for NOW no plans to release them” (aka not this expansion since they already wanted void elves).

If they wanted to end the ‘we want high elves’ debate they could’ve EASILY done so (or at least most of it…the players wanting high elf paladins would still be demanding them) by simply having the void elves BE Vereesa Windrunner’s Silver Covenant. They could’ve kept the recruitment scenario mostly the same…except maybe like with the Sunwell the void ethereals were drawn to Alleria, not by Umbric’s group, and unfortunately Vereesa and her elves were caught in the crossfire and suffered the same transformation. Poof they could’ve instantly changed the largest group of high elves still in the Alliance into void elves and the void elves instant loyalty would actually make sense.

Also…even IF they gave blood elves a blue eye customization option, it wouldn’t stop people from asking for high elves on the Alliance, just saying…anymore than giving ice cream to one child stops another one from asking for ice cream for themselves. But honestly I think the reason we got the option for golden eyes was to 1) reflect the changed nature/purification of the Sunwell and 2) ‘Reserve’ the blue eyes for the high elves they probably want to keep in reserve as a last-ditch effort to attract players back.

“Rebranded” is an odd way of saying “mutated”. The green eyes are one of the signs of Blood Elf mutation that differentiates between High Elves and Blood Elves.

Dude, we haven’t mutated from the High Elves, considering deep down, we’re still High Elves. Only reason why we got Green Eyes is because of the Sunwell, it was corrupted, and now we got golden eyes because it has been purged, but not purged with Arcane Magic, but Holy Magic.

I feel you hit the nail right on the head. If the current state of the game is any indicator I would expect High Elves in either the next expansion or the 3.0 patch of this one. I used to feel they would just refuse to do it for the perverse joy, but numbers are getting to the point that they are going to have to get radical in their attempts to save this expac. With all the rumor that Sylvanas is going to get the Garrosh treatment, I would expect the devs are having some very frank conversations about high elves now. Either way,I am already a hugh elf so it doesnt affect me either way. Plus, I have blue eyes
