Given that shaman is quite literally the most broken and over powered class in the entire game alliance would benefit massively from that trade since it seems all the devs play shaman.
No, it’s not if it was they wouldn’t have given humans a real racial later on fool
Go away, moron.
" let’s faction stack alliance! It’s the meta chase it!!!WHAT WHAT WHAT??? THEY DID THE THING THEY SAID THEY WOULD WITH PRIEST RACIALS AND WEAPON SKILL? WHAT WHAT WHAT!!!??!?!?!?".
Lok’tar Ogar.
This cant come soon enough, allow all races to choose their racials, if you arent going to allow alliance to keep their only good racials and are giving them to horde then the only fair thing to do is to allow anyone regardless of faction to choose whatever racials they want, otherwise its a clear one sided bias… which we saw for the entirety of last phase with shamans.
The point is balance. If you want our cool stuff, we want your cool stuff.
And yea, yall can have all the shamans you want, then we would finally stop having to read all about them in the forums. And I would get my bubble…which I would never use, because I have standards.
I obviously have pvped against orces before. But, thanks for ASSuming.
From my understanding here, you think hardiness being a passive racial its a disadvantage and it would be better if it was an active ability and you could control it on a CD?
I know Hardiness is very good and the tool tip is misleading cuz it seems to resist stuns 80% of the time. But I personally hate rng skills and would prefer a skill I can use when I want/need it.
I think think SM and SF are very good racials as well. Some alliance cry simply to cry.
id rather they just give each race a new RACIAL quest at level 60 that offers you a new racial thats unique to each race, and balance them out a bit more, so alliance get a few more pvp racials and horde get some of those missing things.
instead of just homogenizing everything, lean into each race and make it even more unique.
Well, you cant use SM while shapeshifting and while in combat, and you cant walk if you want/need, and it has a CD, so does, SF, 3 min CD, so im struggling to see some sense here, since you cant use those skills anytime you want/need.
I understand if regardless of any of that, it is your personall preference, but a skill being passive means not only no CD, but it takes away any form of timing that is demanded for the player to actually make good use of it.
SM is very good and becomes excellent when used in combat.
SF even with its 3m CD is fantastic.
Is hardiness the best of the 3? yes, but not by much.
I mostly agree with you here, especially because we are not even adding perception or rep bonus (when REP is so easy to grind on SOD) in this equation of the good stuff, kinda the point of the thread all around.
You cant use it in combat. Its really only good to drink and eat on a PvP server…
I’ve played alliance probably more then I have played Horde throughout the years. But, I hate to see people crying about racials. Horde are a bit better but people like Snutz have said Alliance racials are really good and not as bad as people make them out to be.
Where they really matter 90% of these forums wont ever reach. High level arenas.
I mean there isnt a high skill cap in using your stun resist AND it massively makes a difference in how opponents approach you. Can Snutz let us know how SM is bridging that gap?
They were a bit better, now they are a lot better.
Thats hardly a reason why an unbalace should or should not be created.
I really think those people that says hardiness isnt one of the best racials in the game are completely oblivious of how many time they resisted a stun, because they dont even notice it.
I play Ally because I hate horde mud huts. If I wanted to traverse a city that looks like something out of the African desert (org) then I would play Horde.
The racial thing is such a weird thing to tune. If you are on the “who cares about racials not a big deal” side of the argument why add weapon skill at all? IMO the racials have always been incredibly underbaked as one of the last things they added to the game before launch. This feels like the perfect area for something like SoD to play with. Berserk gnomes sound cool to me.
