Maybe it’s just my own experience, but lust classes also tend to be much worse than their M+ score says since they get invited so easily. I’ve had so many issues with 2600+ shaman and hunters being so bad and bricking keys.
As an SP the number of times I’m scanning LFG for keys to join and I can see they either don’t have lust or don’t have a BR and therefor there’s zero reason to apply to them is super disheartening.

They should just give one each of Brez/Drum for grab at the entrance. Almost all groups don’t even attempt without them. Some classes get automatically excluded because of the “needs” This is totally not fair. Fail balancing.

Those class differences don’t start and end at lust. In fact, Lust is the only class buff that is universal. Not having fort/shout/mystic touch isn’t that big of a deal, having your Lust be 50% less effective is.
I would say you should respec to healer but priests can’t really do that this season either.
I mean I’m 2.9. I’m definitely doing well and holding my own it’s just if I take a quick look at the 22-24 keys currently listed right now there’s.

Etc etc etc. Every group is a tank and some combination of DH Monk Rogue + Evoker or Druid healer, either lacking BL or Lacking BR, and a Hpala / DK / DH tank.
Buffing drums back to 25% would massively improve the situation.

People are less and less accepting of the fail chance from engi BR the higher you go. The bracers stop you from killing yourself with it, but it can still fizzle and poly you for 4 seconds instead of rez them.
Not if you’re actually an engineer though right? I though the engineering specialisation removed the failure chance.
Unless I’m mistaken it removes the catastrophic failure chance. It can still just fail regularly.
I thought the safety component removed that, and then the engineering specialisation provides further protection against failure.
you don’t need a BR or lust. +25s have been done with just drums.
