Gilgoblins are smokin hot

loads shotgun with malicious intent

…Honestly? I liked the Gilgoblins more than I like the original Goblins.

And I already really like the original goblins. Yeah, the greedy sleaze, Capitalist-Evil (and sometimes not so evil, thank you Trade Prince Gazlowe, sir) angle of the Goblins is a whole lot of fun, but the Gilgoblins won me over with their earnestness.

In many ways I do too. They parallel land goblins very nicely.

And let’s be real, not to dish on the Vulpera (there are enough rabid anti-furries to do that as it is) but Gilgoblins definitely better fit the mold of an Allied-Race. The Gilgoblins are definitively a variant of the Goblin, whereas the Vulpera are clearly their own, wholly unrelated race. They might not have enough content to merit “full” race status, but they’re context is definitely more of a standard race race, than just a “allied” favoring of one.

Exactly how I feel. I think that they are easily more unique then most allied races. And with the right effort they can be made even more unique without breaking from their established look. I was really hoping for them to be the goblin AR.

I’d go pearl diving with them

I am sure you would :yum: They know all the greatest pearl hunting spots from under the sea.

I would have loved to have Gilgoblins as an AR.

I think they’re my second pick actually. Sethrak then Gilgoblins. :stuck_out_tongue: (Though hey maybe Sethrak for Alliance and Gilgoblins for Horde?)

I wonder how close we got to actually having them as an allied race? Did it go down to a coin flip - vulpera vs. gilgoblins? Personally, I’d have preferred gilgoblins.

The Gilgoblins the Horde interacts with in Nazjatar are infinitely more tolerable than the greedy, malicious, scheming Goblins the Horde has now. Their characterization in the game is the worst.

I’m in favor of tossing the Goblins we have now into the ocean and taking the Gilgoblins instead. :grinning:

I don’t know, but there is some may thing that seem to indicate they may have been planned at some point. However vulpera did have a lot of work put into it, so they were likely planned from the start of BFA. However I think that during the development stage gilgoblins may have been planned at one point. That is before people even know BFA was coming.

I imagine we got pretty close.

There was a lot of development put into them just not their character models. Story wise they have a lot more reason to join the Horde than say the Sethrak or Vulpera do and one of those actually joined.

how about no?

just liking this for the quality of this reply

That first one is like a chameleon. She has a long tongue too. The tail is used for defensive, climbing and swimming purposes.

And it looks like the mods responded pretty fast to it.

Did you get rejected for your loan application? Sorry, but ten thousand years of sitting in a bubble has ruined your credit score.

rightfully so lol

How about yes?

Not all Goblins are Gallywix.

Not all of them are Gallywix, but don’t pretend that the pursuit of wealth and power at any cost are not integral to their stories in World of Warcraft.

And that’s why we obviously need Gilgoblins around because we must continue to expand our goblin ranks:
The 95th rule of acquisition: Expand or die.
Now, orc, you owe me all of your gold-pressed latinum for that sage advice. :moneybag: :moneybag: :moneybag:

how about no?

Yeah but its not always evil stupid stuff. Some Goblins are really entertaining and loyal to the horde and their crews.

But how about yes?

BUT HOW ABOUT NO? really dont think ur looking at the bigger picture here

The vast majority are, ya just got sleazy types like Gallywix at the forefront 'cause he likes the attention. He commissioned a mountain have his face carved into it, for Profits sake!

The smart Gobs understand that killing each other, draining all the resources out of a land, or being dishonest just results in less profits. Even the Ferengi have their own codes and laws.
