You can craft it without or without the matrix. Costs more if you craft it to 675 then up to 681 as it takes more mats and costs gold if you cant do it yourself. If you havent crafted it just get all the mats, crests, and matric then craft it.

You can’t craft something with just the matrix and not the actual crest thing.
If you craft anything now you should wait to have 90 gilded crest, get the crest thingy and the matrix at the same time to do only 1 craft directly to 681, save gold on mats.
i got a gilded augmentation once, now when I pee it looks like you’re looking into the briefcase from pulp fiction.

its LOW LOW ilvl ya but later can add the gilded just want to make sure it will still go to 681 if u did it without anything but just the spark and the +6
ill prop just wait until i have the 60 gilded i already got 4 of the +6 item ones but took all my gilded i had stock piled
That’s still crazy though, 30 crests for a 635, just get 30 more for a 675 
It may be easy to get but still no reason waste it.
