Compared to other racials. Is it? If so, what would make it good? Would lower cooldown be op?

Roll a darkiron instead, dwarfs are better than space goats.

Better racial, not a giant walking wardrobe and everyone comes to stroke your beard.

I’ve played this character since the day Burning Crusade launched, and I’m attached to it. I’ve never had another main since that time…I don’t think I can change him.

The reason it seems bad to you is because shaman can heal themselves. For classes that otherwise cannot, or can only rarely heal themselves, it’s excellent.

It’s not too bad of a racial. Granted, the 3min CD makes it more situational than it should be, it still has good uses, especially as a support for healers.

But that is pretty much just mage right? Most of their other classes have self healing of some sort right?

It’s neat for Paladins when you can heal someone else for 120% of your max health.

I can relate actually…Human weapon scaling is off. I feel at times I am RPing as two swords, not a person:P

That’d be Hunter Mage and Warrior. Hunters and Warriors can self-heal, but not very often so gift is very useful to them.

It is useful for that dragon in ICC even after it got nerfed :stuck_out_tongue:

It was funny pre-nerf that a few Draenei could make that fight super short.

Yeah, but make it so it gets cancelled by any type of damage so it heals 0%

Well, other races’ racials don’t get cancelled by damage, so I still think that would be underpowered…maybe even more so.

Exactly! I am a Blood Elf, that’s just what it is. And no matter how they alter my torrent, I will continue to be an elf.

The zandalari racial he seemed to be referencing does get cancelled by damage, and is also channeled.

I think you guys still have one of the best racial abilities though…and I’m just not wired to ignore numbers or effectiveness.
