There’s been some conflicting info on the wowhead comment section, and blizzard has been quite ambiguous on the wording: in my view they haven’t been clear enough on confirming this mount (the new one) can only drop on the first daily kill on account.
If you check the wowhead news article, you see that the part that says it can only drop on the first kill on account has been written by wowhead, not by blizzard.
And on the wowhead comment section we have a couple of people who affirm they got the mount on follow-up daily kills.
But realistically, if the mount could really drop on follow-up daily kills and not just the first, there should be at least a few people who had that happen, so is there anyone else around here who managed to get it in a kill that wasn’t the first after the daily reset?
Although the efficient play here is either kill it on one char daily or do the f2p/trial account thing for 2-5 “first” kills daily, which also worked for the brew mount.
Idk how people kill these bosses 100+ times a day.
However, I do have experience farming the Love Rocket during last year’s Love is in the Air event. Back then, everyone claimed it only dropped from the first kill of the day. I did over 30,000 attempts and got it from a later kill.
But the new mount — the broom — really did only drop from the first kill.
Every new mount, that is currently the Sweeper mount from valentine and the new horse from this years event, plus any new mounts they add in the future are once a day per Bnet and that’s it.
Every old mount is a higher drop chance on the first kill and the old bum drop rate on every other kill on the same day.
As for alts what people are doing are multiboxxing 5 at once, that is WoW1 and then 4 random WoW2 > WoW 5 accounts on the same Bnet, this lets them all get the first kill of the day all at the same time and therefore can get the new mounts on alts. Plus this increases the higher drop chance for the old mounts to 5 boxes also instead of just 1.

Regardless, anyone claiming that the Love Rocket only drops from the first kill, isn’t familiar with what we’ve been told in regards to “old” event mounts.
Yeah, I spent about 6 days from 7 a.m. to midnight, switching accounts during the lockout — I have 6 accounts.
It was a matter of principle.
The X-45 Heartbreaker is in my collection, and it’s unlocked.
If it’s harder for you to check collections than to make such assumptions, you can look at my achievements — I have the Feat of Strength for obtaining this mount on 07/02/25.
You forgot to mention the bomber, I think it’s important in such a case to mention every mount that is supposed to work like this, bomber is the 2nd that came out, and all of these came in 2025, a “great blizzard idea”.

and you check the comment made by 2der, you see he confirms he got the ghoulish charger on a kill that wasn’t first of the day, he really has the mount (checked armory) and the comment has 39 upvotes, yet no one else confirms a follow up drop after that.
Does that mean he’s spreading misinformation and people are blindly upvoting the comment, doing multiple runs a day, not getting it and not getting suspicious\reporting back?
Possibly, yes.
Because daily resets have been broken for a LONG time now, and players still don’t get it. If you are logged in at reset time, then your chance to get this stuff may not get reset. That means his “first” kill of the day may have been ineligible to get anything until logging out.
Exactly what gets affected by that is a complete mystery, because Blizzard wants to hide behind the excuse of, “letting the community figure out our weird bugs lol!”
