While Legion as a whole was a good expansion, legendaries were indeed a garbage system where RNG drops on which legendary you got determined whether or not your spec was viable or utter trash.
Those that complain that BFA is a terrible expansion take it too far. It’s definitely better than WoD despite what some might say. However, that doesn’t mean it is without its flaws. Specifically, I feel the biggest gripe people have is that complaints and feedback given during beta were not taken seriously and Blizzard will only fix in 8.1 what ought to have been fixed before release, per the feedback.
Personally, I think having radical ideas on both sides of the spectrum is important. It allows logical and worthwhile feedback to rein those ideas back to a sensible point. Perhaps I am wrong, but if the most radical post on the forum was a well thought out series of gripes about BFA, those still might be dragged to what the new middle ground is and the issues overlooked. Just my 2 cents.
WoD had content issues because development was aborted after launch not because of how it was designed.

Semantics.
They revisted the content and patch systems in Legion anyway.
Did you actually read the patch notes or the PTR forum? There is little if any actual change other than a few numbers being modified. Classes are still forked, rewards for anything are still trite, Uldir has been named as the most boring raid ever by some. Rose-tinted glasses only work for so long.

Azerite gear is being changed drastically. So are island expeditions. Shaman will also no longer be completely useless.
I wouldn’t say Uldir is a bad raid. It’s the first raid of the expansion and the simple fights represent that. Sure, G’huun is absolute aids, but remember how awful Xavius was? Would rather have this challenge than that boring failure.
Seems no different than IRL.
In my opinion WoD was okay, the only thing that sort of ruined the expac for me personally was garrison and the pruning, which led to many problems we have now like class homogenization and game being extremely simplified. WoD was a playable xpac, I would lie if I told you I didn’t have fun. What made it all worse is what came after, I think if they would’ve made WoD respecting each class and not pruning anything the xpac would’ve been great.
I remember my brother complaining about his dk being extremely easy to play due to the runes removal, and the fact that you don’t have to manage your runes anymore. I think looking at a DK before the prune and a DK after the prune you’re looking at two different sharks. DK’s had a very defined class identity you could distinguish a DK from a world away, it doesn’t feel that way anymore with any class. I put DK’s as the example here, because I think they had the most drastic changes.
I can’t believe this is still going days and 533 posts later.
This gives me hope and a long needed acknowledgment of our existence. I know blues cannot post or react to every post, but it has felt so quiet for so long.

It is a hot topic about the future/direction of WoW as a franchise. 14 years, you start to get very attached to the world and the community that has been built up around it and have equally strong opinions about what drives one to continue to be attached.
I liked Cata, and Warlords Of Draenor.

Sorry to tell you that but this is exactly how our posts feel. Useless.
You never give any answers to our questions and concerns. Theres over 100 threads talking about how class design is bad right now. Reddit talking about it too. Dont you think this data is good? If alot of players feel that their classes are pruned and feel like a beta version of the legion class, i think this is a good example of good data. You gotta ask yourself…are classes really that bad? YES.
If the people who post on the forums are a vocal minority, then that applies to the positive posts as well as the negative posts.
No, the sky isn’t falling, but if you think that BfA doesn’t have major issues, then you are deluding yourself.

Yeah, my main problem with uldir is that the rewards are front loaded. So while pugging, people start to leave as their boss of choice is downed. It’s especially evident on Ghuun because one of the only reasons to do it is to get achievements because the rewards are garbo.
Ghostcrawler said a lot of things. Like, “Judgment of Justice is a gap closer” and “Arcane Mage is hard to master.”

How can anyone but blizz even know if they are the same people?
All we see are wow avatars and every bnet account has 50.
So yes a few people with multiple avatars can easily light this forum up and get others to pick up a torch along with them.
This is a huge flaw in the communication system.
It creates a lot of extra non constructive noise. As you can clearly see.
Doesn’t have much sense of community on these forums because of it either.
This reminded me a lot of the anti-flying threads you make every week.

I’d like to see subscription numbers. That would give us a good idea on the “state of the game.”
