As me and my guild are looking to prepare for gnomeregan to do as soon as possible, we were gathering the mats to get a tribal leather worker on day 1 for the helm and have almost everything we need for the lvl 40 helm. The one thing that we are concerned about for this plan is that one of the quest items that you have to craft for tribal needs 230 LW to learn and craft. none of us can remember if you need to be a tribal LW to learn the recipe so this is a question to everyone can you learn it without the quest or if you cant will the devs lower the one recipe needed for it or will we not have it at all next phase.
From a comment on Wowhead from 2007:
“wolfshead helm is a trainer taught pattern that requires 225 LW and you get it from the tribal LW trainer, but you dont need to be a tribal LW”
And then later, in 2022:
“That was true in TBC, but not in Classic Era. In Era, you DO need to be a Tribal LW.”
