Yeh that makes it worse, to be honest. As I said in my post above, the fact we wouldn’t even know this unless that guy made a forum thread and a Blue came in and confirmed it casually? That’s really spooky to someone like me.

Similar mounts (maybe not of the same price range ) like the mammoth in Dalaran from Wrath can still be bought , the Yak from Panda Land with the transmog vendor can still be bought or even the 2mil spider mount.
This is probably the most expensive mount in game and even though some people may have the gold to buy it already , most probably don’t at this time and instead of being able to save up over time (in some cases years for some people) they are put into a position of I guess I am never going to get it or having to spend about as much real money for tokens to buy one mount as they would spend on 2 years of sub time.

As someone who does think mvps are nothing but corporate sycophants I applaud you taking a stand.
That fact that it’s something as meaningless as a mount however is not surprising.
If only you used your green text to summarize complaints and critiques in fair manner that we could all hope someone at blizz pays attention too.
But Mount rage is a start I guess.
Edit: if this rant does anything to your mvp stance I will lol for days while advocating for you to get it back

If it was, think about what you’re implying there. That MVPs have inherently more important opinions than anyone else on the forums, as long as they toe the company line?
If that’s what I’m meant to take away from the MVP system, then I’d just as soon advocate for its complete demolition altogether.

They do it all the time, especially with all the thin skin posters spam flagging things they find counter to their beliefs. Just not aware if it’s ever happened to greenie . Though honestly, it’s a pretty tame and fair rant and I would be shocked if there were any repercussions.

The cannons do make sounds when they fire.
Blasphemy, my cannons don’t make sound? When did this start happening?
I was part of the people who did the 6 month thing. I haven’t had sound before.
Do you use any addons that might be messing up your audio? I only use DBM, Auctioneer, and Gathermate, and my cannons have been fully functional since I bought the ship on pirate’s day. I got a lot of fun just blasting those suckers.
Just DBM. Nothing else that I use has sound.
I have been sadly missing out on the cannon sound since day one.
Quick google search brought up a suggestion from this guy. It’s worth a check.
“The boat does have cannon sounds however, if your “Ambience” is too low, you wont hear it.”
