Just removes the ability to buy it at the end of the xpac.If you have it before that point you keep it.

So Byucknah, how are you going to feel if you do manage to cough up the 5 mill in time to acquire this mount, and then Blizzard does a Water Strider on it, removing its functionality and instead making Auction House Shoes available as equipment?
I already have the brutosaur, and have been farming gold to buy two more for my sons. However this turn of events has reminded me Blizzard cannot be trusted to respect our purchases, and could just as easily, whether on a sudden whim or an already in-place plan, make our brutosaurs useless - except for those into mount blocking Father Winter.
Sadly much of the player base loudly displays its communist leanings when it comes to cheering the removal of things other players have worked for, wanting to bring everyone down to the one boring level.

This is very, very true. Blizzard would do well to not remind us that what we work for can be altered at their whim and with no recourse to us. Not if they want us to pay them for the chance to do that work.

Whoah, that was long! 
Indeed, farming the 5m was one of my goals, along with the 2m for the spider, now It’s just a several months if not a whole year of gametime I simply will not purchase while waiting for shadowlands because I no longer have any goals while waiting.

I mean I agree with you but to say last minute is pretty false we are what half way thru the expac but people are acting like they went oh you got 2 months.

Eh, kind of the opposite actually. The more tokens are on the AH, the cheaper they are. Which means the more people buy them the less they’ll be worth. Which means people will have to buy more and more tokens to reach that 5 mil.

because most players have never seen 5 million gold at one time, yet alone have it ready to buy a mount. Otherwise more than 3% of the population would own one. Use some common sense.

Uhm, to answer your question though that would be outrageous given how much effort it takes to earn however those two situations are kinda apples and oranges in my opinion.
This right here. How long do you think it takes the average player, not the AH expert but the average player to make 5 million gold especially when now put into a time constraint?

Good luck with that one. He literally proposed the same BS argument to me in another thread about 20 minutes ago and when I straight up told him “Most people on these forums act like having 100k is a big deal. They were never going to see 5 million on their character at any point.”
Seems he came to this thread saying the same stupid thing.

I would like this shi* believe me… I’m a Portuguese native speaker and I discovered Wow in Cataclism because the game launched in my country and some ads caught my attention and I love pets unfortunately some pets I couldn’t get. I always ask blizzard to give me the opportunity to get these pets they could launch it exclusively in my country for a limited time.
