Getting kicked for bs reasons in dungeon

Like you said, they can’t do this, because any reason is acceptable according to Blizz. And they aren’t going to interview every person in group and judge from there.

This is our player agency over randoms. Are there kicks we all think are stupid? Absolutely. But there is no way to hold court over what and why and have someone decide that.

Say it loud for the ones in the back honey!

Also, thanks for using the bully adjective. I didn’t wanted to use it first beause it would be taken as me being whiny. But yeah, it’s bully tactic. And people still enable them by saying it’s normal.

Hey Tiffany!

Not sure how holding loot is going to stop people getting kicked from pugs?

Did I miss something?

Also I was just joking, I actually ran out of Tequila yesterday!

No, you’d just be called out on how wrong it is. Your kicks were legitimate: you couldn’t keep up with tanking or healing to their liking. That’s not bullying.

Y’all need to learn what bullying means. Because it’s not kicking someone for not being able to do their job.

Feels like we missing some of the story.

we need some new material, gettin super old

Nah, the story is there. DPS were pulling, because OP was too slow as a tank for them. And their other kick was because they couldn’t keep up with healing the tank.

There is no perfect system so we are left with imperfect systems. Sometimes things happen that just suck. It’s not necessarily unfair.

I’ve been lucky in that every group ive tanked TW i refuse to pull more than one group until i see dps doing more damage than i am, and i haven’t had a problem. Most of the time people make comments like “loving this chill vibe” or the like.

Our experiences all differ. My suggestion as a tank is to make friends with a healer so you both know how fast you can go, and if the 3 dps kick one of you they’ll be looking for both heals and tank.

That’s one way to phrase it. But hey, props to you for bending the truth to better fit your reality. Love that journey for you

I can see why OP is getting defensive. Y’all really defending anti-new player kicks in basic group content? We really set the golden standard for decent players don’t we.

OP just wanted to vent. Stop telling them “deal with it” or “git gud”. This is a legitimate problem and the last thing any of us should be doing is opening our mouths to perpetuate it.

Yeah, I agree with you honestly.
Again, as I first stated. I came here to vent, not to remake the world or having to defend myself because I think it’s BS I got kicked because they were being aholes and playing together.

I wish I was in a group with you, chill vibe is the best x’)

None of what I said is false. It’s right here:

You even said it yourself:

It wasn’t what they wanted. They wanted a faster tank.

And they wanted a healer that could keep up with the tank.

Explaining why OP was kicked and giving options.

And no one told them they couldn’t.

This right here…

This is the epitome of this:

Good luck.

Thank you, appreciate the support

Not trying to be the victim here or anything. Just sharing frustration that, clearly, other players also experience ^^’

I’m legit quite baffled by the lenght people go to excuse bad behavior.

The debuff should be for early drp outs. Saved for those who join for the first boss cause it drops a bis item, or those who join than leave cause the groups not going their pace.

Everyone gets kicked for one reason and one reason only. Everything else is just dressing up the same reason anyone gets kicked because they’re trying to get around that it is a perfectly valid reason.

You were removed from a group because at least 3 members of the group decided they didn’t want you in their group any more. And you are better off not being in a group that doesn’t want you. It is just that simple.

I hear ya. I’ve had a couple frustrating runs this week as well. Hopefully the weekend goes better for you

Yeah, I somewhat agree with you. Especially with the last part.

But that’s beside the point. As i stated earlier, I couldn’t care less about being kicked. It’s the 30min debuff you get for no reason that is the bigger problem.
Why would someone, not just me, get punished and prevented from doing what they planned to do just because some random group decided they didn’t liked their face/name/pace/whatever.

That’s the problematic part to me. You know what I mean.
But for the rest, h*ll yeah I don’t wanna be in a group like that x’)

You weren’t there, but you have all the answers. Gotcha

It is unfortunate, but I don’t think there’s a better solution. Although I’d be happy to test a system where there’s no “punishment” for dropping/being removed from group.
