I am trying to tame Loque on this hunter and when I found it on another of my alts on a different realm I invited someone from my guild to join a group so that I could get this one in group unbeknownst to me it shifted to their realm so couldn’t see Loque anymore.
Is there a way to get back to the realm my alt is on when they first saw Loque after getting group leader back or am I stuck on the other players realm even though they aren’t leader anymore and war mode is off.
Your realm is your server. What happens is that it will phase you to whatever phase the group leader is in, sometimes a different realm. Leaving group will put you back into your phase of the realm.
Even if I am made leader again to phase my hunter to where Loque was when I tried it I set a guildie as leader after spotting Loque invited my hunter logged back to original leader was made leader again but no Loque.

if you’re out in the world, it’s pot-luck which server you’re on.
Nope, it’s to prevent exploits and server issues. They made big changes to shard hopping way back during Legion(I think?) to break group hopping exploiters. There were a lot of shenanigans going on with farm and WQ groups at some point, so they broke it.
Once you’ve been sharded to another server, you’re stuck there for a while. Though it really is annoying when you get stuck on an OCE shard, when you’re east coast, but that’s just how it is. It is technically possible that someone else on the shard you wanted to go back to, might be able to invite you and you might luck out and be the one to transfer to their shard, but you’re dealing with a lot of “mights” in that case and a lot of luck.
