Getting AOTC

Because you’re trying to join groups that are not progression groups. Join groups that don’t ask for aotc there are some of them but you will wipe more and maybe not even clear. That is why people ask for ilvl and aotc.

So, study up,
do it on Tuesday,
invite high geared people (what’s high geared?)
???
Profit

Have millions of gold, then look for Molten Core groups.

Pretty much, I’d say high geared is 480+ but you could probably settle for 475, maybe a bit lower for healers and tanks.

A high ilvl will get you in, regardless of AotC, if you play a class/spec people want. My hpal has Aotc, 5x kills on h-Fyrakk, and I haven’t even done half the heroic raid (missing 4 bosses atm). Almost all my gear is from M+ or crafted.

You can still find progression pug raids today. Those are your best bet.

Join a guild. Make friends. Thats how.

  1. Lead your own raid
  2. Find a guild raid
  3. Play something in high demand like a healer

Not sure id want to invite someone who claims to have played the class since BC and yet doesnt know the basics

Logs say you should get to know it a little better

I came back and thought the same thing. Literally haven’t missed a raid tier for years so I didn’t wanna miss this one. Didn’t get invited to anything even though I was way above the ilvl requirement and had good past exp and parses.

Then I remembered blizzard doesn’t punish buying aotc boosts so I just did that. Now I’ve got my achieve for the patch and I’m back to playing helldivers 2.

Couple things.

First off, playing since TBC doesn’t mean much. And I say that as someone who has also played his main since TBC. The reason it doesn’t mean much though is because specs change so much, especially rogue because of the recent rework, almost every expansion. “I’ve been playing since TBC” just translates into “I’ve pushed generators, and used combo points since TBC.”

Secondly, we’re in the middle of late season where people are just kind of bringing other people to either get their AOTC’s done quick with groups they think can carry them, and this is made worse with a lot of guilds taking a break. I recommend finding a laid back guild which is either still progressing, or close to killing Fyrakk, of which there should be plenty.
