Most bgs have like 3 MM hunters. Its very hard to cast lmao.
Like if i juke cast most of the time i am dead before i can even start damaging.

Iceblock works, unless they double tap from stealth or interrupt frost and kill me in 2 globals.

Yeah, they are nuts. I am fortunate that if I get interupted I can just cast a different spell and keep fighting. Still kinda disadvantaged that they can’t be interupted and they have better defensives than shaman.
As a mage you have no chance, best bet is to sheep them and run that’s if you can get your sheep off. They are way overtuned right now. Aimed shot crits on a clothie are brutal

No need for Camo/Double tap/Aimed, I just use my trusty one shot Bow To Da Face move.

Hunter counters mage. Been that way for a while, except bfa where mages were tanks.
Ya they are 1-2 shotting most ppl not just Mages. I wear mail and if not sitting in GW will be 60-80 down on health with double tap.

two instant aimshots hit me for 8k each, even if i had better gear that plus a killshot is pretty much 20k
Its a pretty hard counter now lmao, die in like a couple of seconds, its not like i can stun them or interrupt them

Hunters are over-tuned but don’t expect changes anytime soon.
settle down if history tells us anything blizzard will nerf hunter into the ground, take a giant crap on them and kick dirt over it a couple weeks after launch.

Ya it’s inevitable like what happens with Shamans 
Once we hit 60, we’ll probably see what we can really do, but I don’t think Hunters will be the best PvP class when the new season starts.
This isn’t a ‘hunters counter mages’ issue, its just pre-patch marksman shenanigans. I was doing the same thing in BFA prepatch in darkshore. its not a true one shot, because its technically 2 aimed shots instantly and then sometimes you gotta arcane shot. but thats all in the matter of 1.5 seconds to the receiving end. so it feels bad.
they will nerf hunters probably before release, like they did BFA. or shortly thereafter.
for now you have to endure it. don’t worry hunters will be irrelevant soon enough.
