Get the Wondrous Wavewhisker Mount with the Purchase of a 6-Month Subscription

There shouldn’t be any attitude at all. People don’t usually go to the CS forums because they are having a good day but rather a problem. If someone is going to be giving advice in the CS forums they need to know how to not escalate into arguments and avoid them. People don’t like douchebags even if they are correct.

I mean… it’s a peer to peer help desk. If you aren’t going to listen to information and just rage about it, yes, you’re going to get the mom attitude with very blunt wording to keep it on track with information instead of rage.

Tell that to the people that flip out on us for giving information.

:dracthyr_tea:

They do. When that bluntness comes into play, the person who was raging either ends up calming down or shutting up. Problem solved.

CS isn’t there for you to rant at the players who are helping. And they will stop it if they see it.

To me, that just sounds and awful lot like “Mom, she started it!!!”

Just going to quote this and leave it at that:

Oh you frequent that place? I think your opinion may be a little bit biased on that subject then.

That’s real cute. You know nothing about me, but good job not having a conversation and immediately attempting to insult me.

They (you?) are not professionals, they are not employed by Blizzard to work in CS, they are just other players and it is not their place to hang about getting combative with other players.

Yeah they’re weird

It’s literally a peer to peer help desk. It’s not Customer Service. It’s Customer Support. We give the information we can and if the SFAs have more than us, they’ll assist. But it’s not meant to be Customer Service. It’s meant to be a peer to peer help desk.

No one gets combative until the OP flips out on people. And even then, it’s not combative, it’s bluntly telling them how things are within the policies Blizz has that we know of.

Which is how it’s supposed to work.

… thanks? What’s with everyone attacking me for trying to help out in CS? :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

No you aren’t.

No I don’t.

So now that we have that established… moving on from whatever attack this is supposed to be.

I’m not attacking you? I’m pointing to the ppl report brigading Maizou. All because they don’t like the policy?

Chile…

Once again, it isn’t your job, you’re just another player. If you want to hang about on a CS forum trying to help out, it’s a weird flex, but whatever, i wish you well, but if you get some kind of kick out of talking down to other players and getting combative with them when they don’t handle themselves in a way that you think is appropriate, then once again, it isn’t your job and you’re not the judge of such things.

Interesting stuff we have in this thread. People getting flagged in not even 10 minutes. I’m sure this is completely natural with only one person typing in the thread at the moment and totally nothing weird is happening.

I’m sorry but this is neither an ableist nor unfair policy.

The reward is specifically designed to encourage people to pay in advance, pay long term and to keep paying. That’s why you need a minimum of a 6 month recurring subscription to get the reward. As if they would only give it to people on a 6 month recurring sub but not a 12 month recurring sub. Now that would be unfair. And your argument that anyone on the 12 month sub could now cancel but still retain the reward also applies the 6 month sub holders.

Blizzard have consistently released a reward for having a recurring 6 month sub. You know this. You still chose to cancel the recurring sub immediately which meant that you would miss out.

I’m not going to get into the legitimacy of your disablity. But cleary you have to understand that those people you perceive as attacking you don’t believe you’re disabled. Just having a bad memory in and of itself isn’t a disablity.

Every organisation that focuses on accessibility understands that there are still limitations. You cannot cater to every variation of the human condition. I don’t raid because I’m not able to react quickly enough to get out of bad. I’m not about to accuse Blizzard of being ableist because they put bad stuff on the ground in their raids.

‘Ableist’ isn’t just some blanket term you can apply to every situation that doesn’t cater to your personal needs. If you’re going to accuse an organisation of being ableist, you better have all the facts and you better be able to prove it. Otherwise you’re just creating drama because you didn’t get what you want.

You say this so much about everyone that it’s literally lost all meaning.

I’m sorry… how is it a “weird flex” to help out people on a forum meant to be a peer to peer help desk? :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

No one does. You seem to be misinterpreting bluntness for this. Again, those few who get that blunt over there only have to get blunt with actual information to get the conversation cooled down before it spirals. The entire point is to make sure the relevant information gets to stay and the thread doesn’t get deleted. Nine times out of ten, you’ll see those OPs calm down and the thread goes back on track. Either that or it all just stops, everyone’s got the information needed and life is good.

It’s a peer to peer help desk. I think you need to understand that part. It is in the forum’s best interest to flag inappropriate behavior or make sure the correct information is given— bluntly or not.

And again… I’m not even the one doing this. So maybe stop blaming me, k?

Literally never once flagged anyone in this thread or the other one and I’m not the type of person you’re even talking about.

Let’s take a step back, shall we?

Truly one of the best mounts Blizzard has released recently. The animations are well done, its attractive, its dual fly/swim, its small and the wings are not rediculously spaced from the body like so many mounts… I love it.
.
I do wish I could use it in current content as I do not care for dragon riding or any of the mounts you can use with it.

I agree, I think it’s going to be my new favourite non dragon riding mount.

I’m actually hoping it gets added to be both a static and dynamic flying mount. I’m picturing the way the fins would spin when doing Whirling Surge.

But hopefully they’ll add static flying to DF in another major patch for those that don’t enjoy it.
