YouTube now linked.
Although I had problems getting an account that wasn’t ‘branded’ Branded accounts don’t link with other accounts apparently, and was unable to log in with my email or connect with my main YouTube account.
I finally dusted off my abandoned account found it might have been the original one and fixed it up. I am now "Alice in WoW Land’ because Alice is my forum main and how cool of a channel name is that? Now I have to make some videos. See what you did to me? lol
Also, looking forward to to watching. I am going to watch it all, because I always watch it all anyways, might as well get some fun stuff out of it.

Phew thank goodness blizzard chose some boring reskinned mounts no one cares about, for a moment I was worried they might have chosen something people really wanted like the spectral tiger or chicken mount etc…to mark this huge milestone anniversary.

I’ve played since month one of launch. I don’t get why Classic is not able to earn rewards. Why would we watch then?

So if we don’t have a Tik Tok or YouTube account we can’t get the rewards??
No store carries any of the mentioned products with the codes on them. So clearly this isn’t something targeted at the wider population. RIP
in game rewards for out of game activities/expense is the worst thing to happen to gaming.

Guys/Gals, you don’t have to watch THIS particular event to get the rewards, the article specifically states that if you read it:
In addition to watching the official YouTube channels for World of Warcraft, Warcraft Rumble, and Hearthstone, viewers can watch on any Warcraft, Hearthstone, or Warcraft Rumble stream on Twitch or TikTok to earn rewards during the giveaway period**.
Watching on any of the three platforms will earn in-game rewards for all three game titles.
Start Time: November 13 at 10:00 am PST
End Time: December 11 at 10:00 am PST
Where to Watch: Twitch, YouTube, and TikTok
If you use TikTok, you need only watch 3 minutes! The other 2, you need watch only 20 minutes.
It’s not that bad.

You can get the rewards with a twitch account as well. The important part to Blizzard and the partner companies isn’t you actually watching, its getting you to link your accounts. These promos are always about identifying/forming cross links between your various online accounts making your data more valuable for marketing and resale purposes. That is why they are giving you “free” stuff that they would normally sell in the cash shop.

It woudn’t let me link my bnet account to youtube but that’s OK. I have it already linked to twitch so I will be fine. I don’t touch tik tok.
I thought rumble was dead?
Heard it crashed and burned.

YouTube “doesn’t support connecting to brand accounts” and therefore cannot be used for this promotion.

Why does Microsoft require I link all my personal accounts to earn this? I am interested in the content and will watch it but I will not violate my personal security and dox myself to Microsoft in order to earn some in-game content. This behavior has increased my discontent with WoW.
