Since fish exist in AV it’s considered participating.

Some of my favorite memories in AV was fishing along side members of the opposite faction amidst the chaos of battle (well… zerging).
We couldn’t communicate but we had a mutual understanding and respected the craft.

Honestly in 1.12 AV I’ve got no problem with a few random people fishing. Everyone on both sides is zerging, and it only takes like 10-15 people to complete the Zerg while the other 25-30 are PvPing, turtling, trying to complete AV quests, etc. 1 or 2 random people fishing doesn’t exactly break the balance.

I do think it is stupid to have fishing work in this version of AV though.
If you don’t pay my sub or pay me to play this game then I suggust you don’t tell me how to play my game. If I want to fish in AV that’s my game not yours.

Each team needs a fisherman, the army gets hungry pretty quickly.

This is abuse of the reporting system, ppl like you should be banned instead. If they’re fishing, they’re not AFK

It really isn’t abuse of the votekick system when you leach honor and rep in a battle ground by not participating.
You can fish elsewhere. No need to take up a battle ground spot.

It is abuse of the system. There is no “votekick” system. There’s a report afk system. If you report someone afk who is clearly not afk then you are abusing that system.

It’s reasonable to assume that if Blizzard put fishing spots in the game you can and should be able to fish from them.

No, there is a “report away” system. Away from what? That’s up to the reporter to decide 
Inside AV you do not need any fishing skill, and catch tons of fish used to open the gates of Ahn’qiraj.
No one zerged AV back in the day, and actually pre 1.12 there was a lot of down time in it, waiting for the elementals to move and so forth.
So, nothing would be wrong if i got a group of people together and tailed you into every AV you joined and just kept simul-kicking you just for the LoL’s?
Or is it only fine when you are doing it?
