That doesn’t make them deserter though, deserting is a choice. They were voted as being unwanted in the group.
Most of the time AFK or DC means RL happened.

if a group votes you out of a random leveling, normal, or heroic dg, i think you deserve a bit of a timeout to think about what you did wrong.

I’m confused. I have never got the debuff after being kicked.
But how else am I to entertain people on a sunday?
I leave an annoying group I don’t care to finish with far more often than than I get kicked. Life is too short to stay with certain people for another minute.
My new priest in Atal’dazar today was with a group that wiped 3 times on the same trash pack because the tank, who was using the fel harambe appearance, didn’t know the mechanics and kept pulling masses of trash that the group couldn’t handle.
Pretty sure you dont get a debuff if you leave after a wipe or two? I don’t remember, but yea, that does stink.
Then do a better job.
Did anyone other than me read the entirety of OP’s post? All they want is the title you get changed from Deserter to Unwanted. They are not wanting the debuff removed…
