Does disarming a Monk actually do anything?
You might think I’m asking for tips on how to fight Monks, you would be wrong. I’m just wanting to feel less stupid when I do it anyway.
For WW it prevents fists of fury use. Usually there are better uses of your honor talents vs them.

That’s actually fantastic because I find being caught in Fists without Evasion or Grappling Hook to be a situation.
defensively it’ll be pretty rare that it ends up being better denying FoF over another honor talent
offensively if you were trying to isolate and kill a windwalker as a physical comp (like warrior spear) disarming the ww off stormbolt or whatever lets you kill him through his defensives with no parry
