sounds like shouldnt have quit for so many phases. If didnt sounds like should have made friends and joined in guild in the last few phases
Also if gear means nothing made a group and bring all these lower 800ish players and clear junk.
We took a ton of new players who did nothing but do guild runs. They’re a significant portion of our core raider base now. Join a guild
Try not playing on a PvP / streamer server. I almost never see people use GS, and people even mentioning it in LFG chat get laughed at.
Kara is 100% doable with 850 gs ive done it with a full group of around that amount it just isnt the “sub 45min” thirsties want with 1k+ gs those people ruin the player experience as well as the log checkers.
I agree 100% even though i never cared for the parse culture and log checkers.
Gear score is a app of exclusion utilized by tryhards who’s only accomplishment in life is WOW success.
I’ve played with too many people wearing NAXX gear who couldn’t even manage 1000 DPS as a baseline in Kara.
People are trying to fill pre-made BG groups with people who have a high gearscore not realizing that the current sets of PVP gear don’t have high scores.
These apps should be banned and I say this as a player who has a Paladin and a Boomkin sitting comfortably at 1000+ GS.

I don’t pug so it doesn’t effect me, but it’s absolutely crazy that people use Gearscore in a version of the game where lower ilvl gear is often better thanks to set bonuses.
I hit 60 yesterday on my alliance druid and ran MC/BWL and could’ve ran AQ40 and I picked up enough Sanc gear from the AH that I could’ve ran Naxx if I wanted. All the while guildless.
And I grinded enough honor to hit r4 tomorrow. =)

Id advise avoiding bwl myself.
Firemaw is still a pug killer if your tanks dont know what they are doing, or if you have a lot of braindead meles. Double dragons too.
MC zerg runs are the best. And Zg, aq ruins, and dragons all have a much better success rate then bwl for pugs.
