Gearing in 9.2, devs dont want casuals to get gear

If that was the case, you would just buy the boost directly for money — as they are usually cheaper and dont require a middle man of Blizzard. The only issue would be is the potential of being banned.

This is why there are WoW tokens.

If Blizzard endorses it there is no problems. You can’t get banned for buying a WoW token then buying boosts in game.
