Just give us back PvP vendors with the WOD gearing system. Worked just fine.

As someone that only played wow for PVP and came back – bfa is a HUGE let down. especially for someone that has multiple alts. Stop forcing me to do content I do NOT enjoy. Pvp & PVE was fine separated. Tired of salty pve only people thinking their mythic & raiding is a “right of passage” to pvp.

You forgot the part about getting your arena rating high enough to qualify for those 430 weekly pieces. I believe it baselines at 395, or 400 and goes up from there starting with arena rating 1400.

You realize that’s PvP though right? When you have unique and cool things there is always going to be something min maxed.
Cod people cry about certain guns being too strong. League half the champs are pick/ban the other half haven’t been played in pro play in years.
PvP balance in this game has been litteraly the same as any other PvP game. I’m not sure how that argument makes PvP seemed anything tacked on. If anything it makes it just like every other pure PvP game out there.
WoD. Never wore a single piece of PvE gear since they introduced WoD scaling

This is pretty much it.
Rated PvP gear can gey really high item level.
But…its not given out for random BGs or afking in Ashran.
And since there is no inherent bonus for being pvp gear, its easier to get gear other places.
In many expansions PvP WAS the path of least resistance gearing.

It’s funny because i remember back in the day i got into wow for the pvp and this was before battlegrounds or the honor system. It just seemed natural to me that i would do dungeons out in the world for interesting gear then use it to kill other players. Then they added honor and battlegrounds, which to me personally wasnt all that great (apart from av). Honor points made pvp seem more like a job with having to “grind” it out. Apparently many people who got to rank 14 felt the same way because so many just did their pvp video afterwards then quit, lol. Sorry this post wasn’t particularly helpful or supportive. You cant please everybody.
In bgs ect. Isnt there some janky scaling system? So its stat priority and build that matters right? But in wpvp you have to do pve to compete. You can’t be sucsessful in CTA without pathfinder and and m+ grear.
I was a super casual player in wotlk and cata. I just farmed bgs and saved up for the brutal gladiaor set. Then outside orgrimmar you could have super fun pvp against people with almost identical gear.
I think the VAST majority wants pvp vendors back and rightly so.
Time gated pve rewards for pvp?! Come on!

Elites had a small chance of dropping a legendary. Any random murloc had no chance.
Anyone’s chance of getting a legendary was directly related to the difficulty of content they played and how much of it they played. Which legendary was rng.
I did a lot of world quests in Legion on many characters. I still do. I can’t actually think of an elite end game murloc that could drop a legendary. No elite murlocs at all.

Don’t bother answering to that “person”, just read his posts and you’ll see it’s not worth wasting time on that.
M+ gear is being updated in 8.3, hopefully they won’t “forget” to update pvp rewards like they did with their Battleborn Sigils.
And yes, pvp gearing is miserable.

Log to this alt, only way of gearing up would be m+ or raid but since everyone I know is gone I don’t have ilvl to get into any of those, log out.
We’d be better off with PVP armor and weapon vendors instead of mythics. Seriously, mythics are a pain. I’d rather not deal with those crybabies who cry over so much as a single lost second.
Give me PVP gear I can buy with marks of honor! That was the best way to do it! Or treat honor gear like Benthic gear, you get the piece by spending gold on it, and spend marks of honor to upgrade it. Once oyu hit the limit, you can choose to swap out to the new set, or buy the entire previous tier set visual for marks of honor!
We should have PVP vendors instead of having PVPers forced to do mythics and raids. PVP is supposed to also be vastly superior to raid and mythic gear in ALL PVP situations, not just BGs.

Yet another week of not being able to use trophies bc of getting trash in the che… Oh wait, I haven’t logged in 2 weeks. I’m slowly understanding Dota 2 though : /.
We dont even have a lead PvP dev and we havent had one for quite some time.

It’s kinda sad to be forced out of Wow after playing it for so long, as long as it’s not “no more wow imma do Call of Duty”. That’s the dumbest thing to do and they most likely just want to funnel wow pvp players into those activision games.

The issue is they’re forcing everyone to do all content. Such a bad idea, just let people play what they enjoy. I PvP, that’s all I enjoy. Yet if I don’t do islands and mythics I’m going to be behind in my chosen field of play.
Just a feels bad. To thankfully I don’t reward their neglect and bad decisions by playing more of their games. Rocket league is a very different game lol
