Don’t know about your server but on ours GDKPS were happening from the get go (kara) and happened all expansion long (long before Wrath was ever mentioned). You will have some that love them and some that hate them - they had a hand in killing more legitimate raiding experiences than anything else. There are oodles of situations where someone joined a guild with the intentions of being an active part of it - decided they just wanted to buy their gear then quit until the next raid tier. If you had 1 gold for ever story like that on our server you’d be rich 10 times over. Different strokes for different folks I guess, as unrealistic as it is I think perhaps 2 versions of TBC was needed , TBCC for the original people who wanted it 100% original with it’s original length of 2 years and the more modern person who wants everything fast and a short expac (I said it was unrealistic but my mind goes to the “what if we had 2 types of TBCC”). Can’t please everyone and the TBCC babies lost out. I hope Wrath is better and they ban GDKPS, and if people cry about making money a more traditional way…go back to retail.
You’re all missing the point lmao
Just because you can’t think of a way to ban GDKPs doesn’t mean they didn’t ruin the TBC experience for a lot of smaller communities.
keep bumping my post for free though, GDKP enthusiasts seething
I have no idea what the OP just said.
It also makes it for a bunch of communities. You removing them ruins the game for a lot of people
You do your thing. They’ll do theirs
critiquing a 15 year old expansion , pretending being surprised. I actually enjoyed the game for a good year and a half , without any of the issues you mentioned
not really , you are wrong
exaggerations, i have completed the game with zero gdkp runs
but it didn’t, these communities still exist quite easily
Making it worse = ok?
It does, this proves that you have never been in a GDKP run
Every run you do with your guild should be split GDKP so you can buy consumes each week for free
How is his the “cope PoV” when you’re the one whining about how you can’t clear content because your guild is too bad to actually recruit people.
I’m posting on main, this guild i’m in on this toon has cleared sunwell week 1. I’m in multiple guilds on a few different servers that all have cleared sunwell.
Plenty of my IRL friends were unable to find pugs for their raids because you can just buy gold and go to a GDKP instead. yall too blind to see that dkps ruin the new player experience which is precisely what i’m bringing up with this forum post
yall off ur meds
You can go to a GDKP without buying gold. You can go to a GDKP without having gold too. Your friends are bad at the game and no one wants to carry them for free, apparently not even you.
Everythings for sale, today’s price isn’t yesterday’s price
As i said up above, I know I’m 100% right in what I stated at the beginning of this thread. Doesn’t matter what the dissenters have to say, GDKP runs ruin the experience for new players.
How can you be 100% right when I’m 100% right? Sorry kiddo, but you’re 100% wrong and I’m 100% right, these numbers don’t lie.
ye ur a random though with no accomplishments so i guess you’ll just have to live with that
GDKPS = ruining game experience for newer players
completely right
What accomplishments do you have? Whining about how your friends are bad at the game and no one will carry them? Congrats! No one cares.
if you know you know, and randoms don’t know
GDKP = ruined game xperience for new players
yall buggin
So you’re not going to explain how it ruins the experience? Just keep stating it over and over again, no matter how much you whine it won’t be true.
read OP with at least a 5th grade reading comprehension level
If you, their own friend, don’t want to carry them for free, why would anyone else?
i got my buddies into a larger guild with more ppl that had shaman alts, since finding shamans every week got to be an impossible task.
one shotting bosses all xpac long wasn’t good enough to retain any decent pug shamans. it is what it is. you can remain keeping your head up your own rectum, as i said, the incentive to run gdkps ruined tbc classic for the alliance cuz no available shamans in the pool to recruit.
new players are guranteed terrible runs when GDKPs are in the mix. just like how boosting ruined the early leveling experience because all the best players weren’t leveling alongside new ones.
