there’s plenty of people out there that pay it forward
even in a video game that many people have stayed with longer than a single employer
on topic: i don’t pug raids - not anymore - but those i did back in tbcc (which were all gdkp) were enough to turn me off to the practice
in theory gdkp is just as valid as any other loot distribution method
but the crap that took place in many i saw has tainted all for me so rather than wait for blizz to police illicit rmt i limit my exposure and attempt to help others do so through barter/no gold exchanges
i get some people like the pug life but if you hate gdkp get a guild or if you can’t find one that doesn’t use that loot distribution system, find other likeminded players and form your own guild/scheduled pug with clearly established rules
yeah it takes some effort but if you are intent on playing your way it might be worth it
I think you’re losing sight of the original point. Sincere congratulations to you and your gold stack. Really impressive.
But the real point here is that GDKPs inherently promote gold buying. Do you want to refute that point or do you just want to keep blowing air about how some people earned their gold legitimately?

So i watched the full video now i never thought that i would watch that 28min video but i’m glad i did because it’s very well made video and has accurate info, i’m not shocked though! because during classic 2020 and tbc-c i always talked about the millions of gold being sold on g2g/player auction…etc which could be easily revealed by those 3rd party sites history meanwhile gdkp’s magically reign supreme.
it’s a fact that wow classic is the dream of any farmer it’s really a heaven for real money trades.

Blizzard should just learn to ban GDKP groups
It is the thinnest veil possible to obfuscate buying gold and using it on raid gear.
Anyone not willing to agree with that is feigning ignorance because they profit from that system (Carry or Buyer)

I straight up agree. And no one will ever change my mind.
But, when you have blizzard higher ups (Aggrend) saying they like GDKPs. The future of wow is not in good hands. =(

Ive started advertising GDKP for Ubrs, Lbrs, DM, Strath, and Scholo
I may level another character SPECIFICALLY for getting GDKPs started as low as Wailing Caverns.
If Blizzard supports all of the gold buying, then why not make it hideously abusive?

GDKPs are dead content, wrath is a dead game mode because of it
Still more played than Era and GDKP is the only thing keeping raids in Wrath interesting during this lull. Your views on it is so wrong lmao

And yet Wrath still has more people playing it than Era 
Just make a lv1 and walk around… The world is 100% more alive in era then it currently is in Wrath.
I flew around with my lv78 twink and I didnt see not one person in northrend. lol
no they don’t, there are more collective hours spent on era than there are on wrath

I personally dont play anything except 60 era Classic (irl friends and I decided to make a raiding guild)
Still not giving up on the goal of raiding Naxx GDKP free.
I cleared BWL with another TMB/roll guild recently.
It was our first time stepping into the dungeon together as a guild.
We cleared all the bosses, and only wiped three times.
Vent room (rogue aggro’d 2 hatchers)
Trash after Flamegor(sp?)
And only once on Nef.
Full clear. 3.5 hours. No GDKP!
