Lol this argument has been made for over a year now and blizz isnt going to change it they actually RE-INFORCED it.
Wait but that can’t be true. Because GDKP was apparently so prevalent that it was ruining the economy. So which is it?
Was it so prevalent that it ruined the economy and needed to be removed? Or was it removed before it was a problem?

in TBC i raided in a guild on my and GDKP on alts for an easy way to get gold for pots and such
played SoD for a bit but was purely GDKPs there and everyone i played with quit
i wish blizz would let people raid with what loot options they want they would make a lot more money each month
but with them banning it again i dont think its coming back and its a shame because they dont have as much subs as they could
Lol GDKPs are bad for the game. If they where setup in the OG way they would be fine but they are not they are ranby greedy kids who take 20-30% cut off the top.
The OG GDKP the pot was split 100% with the entire raid no cuts off the top or anything!!
the ones i did leader took 5% some might have taken more but as long as the people in the raid agree to how to pot is being distributed why do people do didnt do them care
The fact that someone is taking a cut off the top is what is wrong with the system and is one of the reasons why blizz took it out. Leaders are taking 80-150k cuts off the top in cata right now for doing nothing but hosting the raid. Then they turn around and sell the gold to the people in there GDKP’s This is why GDKPs where banned!!!
Except it didn’t… It dropped off “a bit” weeks enough into Phase 2 that people decided Gnomer sucked and the big drop off was into phase 3… While the ban was the last week of Phase 1.
Actually having played the game kind of helps.
Speaking of dead should we compare current SOD Population to GDKP Era?
Let’s see what happens when No-GDKP gets up and running long enough to have some numbers.
The non gdkp servers will be better then era because theyre actually prog servers. Now if blizz had released Fresh servers and then allowed the current era servers to become TBC that would have been amazing!!!
oh the top cut in TBC was like maybe 10k at max but then prices for items are probably a lot different as it becomes easier to make gold in wrath and onwards
min bids for cata raids are like 10k for normal gear and 20k+ for heroic
What are you talking about little bro? I dont think it has much effect on the economy. And even if it did, they nipped it before it could get to that point, they didnt wait until rhe realmt got messed up which was awesome

Banning GDKPs is a great way to cut the player base in half!
