GDKP Ban - Blizzards Failed Experiment + Player Feedback

No they banned them on SoD and Anniversary because they want to keep the majority of players on versions of the game with microtransactions. This is obvious, corporations only do things to increase profits, and Anniversary/SoD do nothing to increase profits.

Gonna happen anyway when the unreal 5 reskin comes out this year and blizzard has nothing to compete with it.

I’ve had this troll ignored for a long time, but I had to reply to this.

Stats from Ironforge.
GDKP servers.
Cata: 109200
Era: 11800
Total: 121000

Non-GDKP servers.
SoD: 71700
Anni: 93000
Total: 164700

The servers where GDKP is banned have 36% MORE players than where GDKPs are allowed.
:rofl::rofl::rofl:

Oh mr cherry pick data is back and pretending he doesn’t read every reply I give him lmao. You’ve been following my words since maladath, why pretend like you aren’t now.

You also forgot to add the millions of retail players to the not banned side since all game versions count

Well technically people were gold swapping into other versions and using the gold to buy wow tokens for gametime so it actually made them lose sub revenue.

Precisely why they made up the gold swap policy.

People are ignorant and believe blizzard makes policy changes to improve gameplay they only make changes like you said to increase profit even at the expense of there playerbase.

well duh they dont make the games so you can be happy playing the way you want to they make games to make profit. They didnt need to bring back classic and youd find something in retail to whine about. gdkpers move the goal posts so much. first when I joined the forums it was about I want to play my way. then it was some bs about my gdkps dont rmt. then it was somthing about I dont want to farm I just want to raid log and still make gold. now its something about blizzard banning it for microtransactions. Any other excuses to why blizzard banned em?

Just another reason they are banned.

The people advocating for them are so disingenuous and blizzard see this. Could you imagine what these players would be like if they were allowed to be in charge of 100s of 1000s of gold?

The tactics they would use to manipulate and steal people’s gold.

Great thanks for once again agreeing GDKP’s are not the cause of RMT.

No one has ever said this?

That’s like saying you can’t ban guns because murders happened before guns!!!

What’s with these pve players and having the worst takes imaginable

If we tried banning guns and the murder rate didn’t change then we would have to admit that guns weren’t the problem.

Can’t wait to see blizzard correct this failed experiment.

Like with flying it’ll take years and then they’ll take some passive aggressive approach to it.

Honest question.

What is wrong with you?

No, if the murders involving guns are reduced then the purpose was fulfilled. More people getting caught for murder because they are forced to use other methods doesn’t mean the ban didn’t work. Infact it did exactly what they wanted.

Rmt in gdkps is reduced because they are banned. More people copping bans because they can actually track the gold now.

Yep thats what I said.

I just wouldn’t play without classic, no whining retail just isn’t my game.

Give an example of me doing that.

I never said that.

I never said that either

Also didn’t say that

You agreed with this point, you can’t use it now.

It was always the same reason.

“It doesn’t matter if murder still happens as long as the thing I don’t like is gone” man a true intellectual

Wait till he realises I said caught for murder.

I think blizzard are considering unbanning gdkp’s in the near future especially with tbc around the corner.

Murder still happens whether they get caught or not. Like I said

“Guys murder is fine as long as the person gets caught!!!” -ripsod probably

I’m not sure. This thread has been a disaster for the GDKP side. It’s been overwhelmingly in favor of the GKDP ban.
