In a word, freezing. It’s about 36 degrees, and it was snowing as I did my morning run. PTS did get downloaded. It’s down right now, and not sure exactly when it will be back up. I also don’t know if it will let me in. It’s invite only, and although it says if you have been in the previous ones you will get in, I can’t really remember. So raised anxiety levels.

Modifying my pizza recipe, and looking at the Babylonian building materials over in Conan Exiles. I’m pretty jazzed about the idea of building a ziggurat with hanging gardens and Ishtar themed statues.

A ziggurat is a terraced temple complex. Sort of like a Mayan step pyramid. So the business is up at the top. It’s a lot of wasted space though so I plan on filling the insides with rooms and workshops.

I’m all about style. It was part of a season pass for a bunch of things not yet released, but I’ve been pleased with what they have done, and the addition of being able to summon my own pack of skeletons sounds awesome. There is one called Blood and Sand, which is either going to be gladiator themed, or hopefully Stygian. Really hoping for Stygian.
More yeast, some garbanzo bean flour to make it hopefully keep bubbles. I want it to rise better than last time.

Here’s a tidbit… it’s WoW related, doesn’t really fit anywhere else or warrant a new thread.
Haven’t raided seriously since Dragon Soul. Casual in MoP, WoD but the storm of nonsense surrounding the game in general and particularly last few months of Legion followed by BfA release etc got me really down. Guildies were few and far between, felt like my friends list was less populated every day. I know nobody likes change and every expansion is the worst ever to some segment of the playerbase.
Took a 6 month break over BfA release. Listened to no coverage, read nothing about the game, unsubbed from the ‘sky is falling’ committee on YT. After coming back I’m absolutely loving BfA and still not listening to (for the most part) any negative nancy stuff here or elsewhere.
TLDR ; Naysayers got me down, lost a lot of my in game connections, people moving on etc but I took a big break (by my standards), came back to BfA and loving it.

Yes. I’m sad, but also angry that it’s taken so long for them to start putting water on flames. The tower has already fallen in.

Yeah, just saw the video on the falling spire. This is a big loss. Unbelievable that a fire so strong just happened. Hopefully something can be saved.

Yeah, this is part of Humanity’s culture being lost. This needs to be dealt with ASAP, not only for Notre Dame itself but the danger flames look powerful enough to spread. The french should deploy aerial fire-combat measures.
