Plot twist: Liianas wants a Tinkerer class so that they can become Gazlowe or Gelbin’s doppelganger and take over the associated faction!

It could work like D.Va really.

You have a charge of say “battery module”. When fully charged tank can do the D.Va trick and explode! and call another mech immediately.

BUT if it’s not charge and mech gets destroyed before they they become squishy pilot just with big damage. If they manage to recharge their mech before they die, they can call another. Though unlikely in pve lol.

Oh yes, he’s a nightmare now.

What’s really bad is that short, stubby nose is now the default nose for mose male goblins NPCs. I die a little inside when I talk to male goblin NPCs.

I don’t know.
Call me a Blasphemer if you want, but I like the Idea that Goblins as a race are actually attractive, and that their traditionally unattractive options are pushed to the sides.

This isn’t Harry Potter, the goblins don’t have to be Ugly, cantankerous bags of wrinkles.
I think it’s fine that goblins can be traditionally attractive looking, considering they’re one of the more civilized races on Azeroth.

I guess what I’m saying is that It should always be an option, but that option doesn’t need to be the default

Do exploding sheep count?

Exploding Sheep are Bombs first, Animals second.
But I agree with you on a technical level.

It’s my first time seeing a thread on tinkers and definitely support having more classes.
But what I’m curious about is how do you envision this class to be like?
Is it like Gelbin during BoD, melee dps putting bombs and traps empowered by suit. or range dps just shooting guns and rockets? Or is my question too early?

Your question isn’t too early at alll.
In fact, I don’t need to come up with some crazy, 100% original concept. blizzard has already done much of the thinking for me.

The Tinker Island expedition teams are already neatly divided into 3 specializations.

Ranged Damage: Fights with a gun from a distance, using explosives, and building turrets to aid their DPS from a far.
Is able to deploy turrets, and timed explosive charges

Tank: Pretty obvious. Fights in a giant mech. Uses barrier shields and intelligence.

Healer: also uses a gun, but uses it to heal, as well as deploying Heal-bots. and Throwing healing grenades.

Again that’s not my concept, Blizzard made all of these abilities already. They have level requirements and everything. Just none of the existing classes use them

Oh sounds good, I think the mech suit is really exciting. I’ve done zero islands and have no idea there’s such a thing.
Maybe they should launch that mech suit tank spec first

The assets for the mech suits are in game too. Though they aren’t unused. Enemies in “THE MOTHERLODE” use them

Gallywix and Gelbin obviously have their mechs.

This is an immensely late reply. But I should mention that my threads are often flagged for no good reason, leading to them being buried.
So in many ways, People flagging my friends unfairly, promotes me to make more threads. :rofl:
Some folks really don’t like the Idea of tinkers I guess.
