Yeah I’m really hoping they do.
And definitely don’t feel like you didn’t accomplish much BWL is definitely an achievement I remember wiping to Firemaw for hours straight on our first time raiding BWL
( We had a tanking issue where our OT couldn’t get aggro and would come in and toast the whole raid lol )
My character is still the same wasn’t played in
BC or wrath it’s literally still 60
I’ve contacted blizzard to just copy and paste
But of course they won’t
I know that we haven’t heard anything of blizzard confirming they can bring it back
But I guess that’s also a good thing
Like Harland said earlier, it must be your timing. I see groups looking for raiders still while playing on the PVE group.
Yeah cuz 100% of mankrik alliance is max level, full T2 and farming AQ40 in preparation for Naxx.
The OP said he’s looking for a raid guild with 4am start times. Thats probably the biggest issue.

also i was able to raid MC/ony/ZG in mankrik on my crappy geared hunter so you’re doing something wrong
didn’t say i was looking at 4Am saying i would do one at 4am australian time if that what it would take.

Nightmare is an australian guild that i see on whitemane. Im sure they will take you. Alternatively i know of 3 or 4 guilds just getting started that need raiders in blues. Look into For Da Horde as a first suggestion. nice guys and need starters.
Bunch of bullcrap … they never promised the snapshot will live forever… All data has a retention policy. That time has passed for the snapshot.
And yeah classic era has been on naxx patch for a long time, so raiding MC isn’t as easy as it was 4 years ago…
There are so many people leveling on whitemane and mankrik, in a few weeks I imagine lots of guilds will be farming prebis and pushing into MC / ZG. Plenty of people came back and I have seen 3 or 4 guild advertisements recruiting fresh 60s to start again.

Better value than a lot of games I paid 60 bucks for when it comes to dollar per hour.
Nothing beats blizzard though, those schmucks still charging 15 bucks. It makes sense in retail I guess because you got all the other stuff you can buy in the shops.
But only charging 15 bucks per month to play all the classic games is honestly just a goodwill gesture and a tribute to the older games.
I love it when people hop on here and going on about how their 15 dollars is the be all end all lol. “I AM TAKING MY WHOLE 15 DOLLARS ELSEWHERE!?” Bruh calm down that doesn’t cover lunch.
It’s more like $25 per month if that’s what you’re talking about, and that money quickly adds up. It would be very depressing seeing how much individuals had pay for a game they seemingly don’t even like that much when you look at all the complaining blizz is farming bank off addicts
I’ll be happy if they just announce a timeframe for it, even if it is 5 months out.

I just wish they would bring back the cloning service or w/e. I tried to purchase the service near the end of its availability and just got nothing but errors from the in game purchase (which i think was the only way to do it, not through the website?)
Kinda bummed about that now, started releveling my toons over.
Yeah saying you’d be happy to do a raid at 4am if thats what it took doesnt mean you’re actually looking for one when the whole point of your thread is that you cant find anything even though your looking very, very, very hard. Scuse the heck outta me.
Mankrik alliance pug MC and ZG often enough and guilds are recruiting in global chat channels 24/7. Sometimes you gotta do more than just expect an invite, I suggest you try that.

They announced som details and the beta September 21st, beta launched the 5th of October, and the season launched November 16th.
I don’t disagree they take forever on most things, but we could definitely see a quick turn around.
Fresh is like Christmas, SoM is like a birthday, and Era is a landfill where you discard the remnants of those events. Sure you can play in the city dump and find cool things but it’s just broken trash at this point.
This is an unfortunate and common problem that Vanilla presents. Having a long progression curve with no meaningful catch ups means that it can be hard to get in when you’re new. Retail has addressed this and it works very well, but you do lose a bit in the form of long-term player progression.
While the concept of fresh can mitigate this, but they tend not to last and by their very nature, can’t come up all that often.
There’s a few things you can do here though…
- Find a guild who still does MC/BWL (there’s more than you think) and ask to join on loot probation… meaning you can’t get loot unless nobody needs it. Maybe not even then since maybe they want the shards. Understand that people are an investment and so guilds may not want to lose out on resources for someone who is going to just grab some gear and then bail for another guild as soon as they can. Find a guild that aligns with your interests, then invest some time in them and build up trust. If they like you, I promise you, they will be happy to gear you be a long-term contributor.
- Start your own guild with the sole intent of gearing up and moving past those progression blocks. You’re not the only one and as long as expectations are clear, no worries. Name it “feeder” or something obvious haha. If you can’t find another guild that does what you want, the usual answer is to find a way to solve the problem yourself. This is one way you could do that

Damn man thats brutal, they really need a more diverse population to give players options from a number of regions, im from aus and id love to be back raiding in classic, hopefully they re-enable classic character cloning soon. Hopefully blizzard listens and we can raid together in the future.
Blizz you really need to bring bank classic-era character cloning.
