PVP happening would be fine if they were around my character’s level, not maxed out with undoubtedly double the ilvl.
i think it was the deserter icon or something like that
and you did less damage and heals for a time frame

op when we had pvp servers i was ganked for a copper mine node by a 40 or hight
in classic
and i did not complained just moved on
and i did ganking also it just the circle of life in pvp

the point of ganking is to kill unfairly. are you new to playing WoW or…?
we’re only suggesting turning if off if you don’t like this behavior. you cant have your cake and eat it too.

i strongly disagree, i dont think it’s asking a lot to practice simple decency, i want to PVP but against those around my level, not 5-10, this is elitism at it’s finest.

Then PvP. Nobody’s stopping you.
You essentially agree with how the World PvP works when you enter Warmode, that there will be unfair encounters and you’re complaining about something that has been fundamental for World PvP. If you’ve wanted more fair pvp battles, then try Arena or Battlegrounds.
All that will do is make people leave and make World PvP a bit emptier.

You’re asking people to play by your rules and you’re way of enforcing this is though “honor”, which i don’t think people honestly cares about “honor”… however you wish to define it.

but back in the day when i had several RL friends playing, we would go and destroy red ridge, waiting for other max levels to come for some real fun. the lowbies were just the kindling to the fire we were trying to start. good times! CRZ ruined that tho…

It cannot change because a game like WoW, which uses levels and gear as a primary form of progression is inherently unfair, even at max level. The solution for PVP is more PVP.
It’s not that it cannot change, it’s that the only real solutions involve other players helping you overcome your WPVP issue.
There’s nothing hypocritical about it. Get help from other players to turn your disadvantage into a net-advantage. You will never escape this vicious cycle if Warmode is enabled.
