Gamma Dungeons, Old Kingdom and Azjol Nerub

Please share with the class what is so “overtuned” in a WOTLK dungeon that gives you a massive buff from a summoned NPC in the dungeon.

The last two times I got OK I got web wrapped just as Insanity was cast on the last boss and auto died since the clone things don’t break you out. We still beat it but it’s stupid that that’s even possible.

As a resto druid I actually like HoL because I can just spam hurricane with infinite mana. AZ and OK are usually fine since I moonfire spam people out of wraps if they’re not close to the group, but they are annoying mechanics.

A perfect example of why this affix is idiotic. It’s literally impossible to get out of wrap yourself and insanity makes it where no one else can help you.
I’ve seen this happen multiple times. It’s only a wipe when it’s the tank or healer but it’s really frustrating as a dps because you’re basically SoL and have to wait for the boss to die.
Anub kick-up web wrap is also annoying since you’re wrapped in mid-air and only range dps can free you (and that’s IF they even can target you, which isn’t always possible). That usually leads to a wipe as well.

Same issue with the ice patches in UK/UP, the last boss in UP has an aoe stun that can leave you in an ice patch.

Didn’t they fix that one after phase 2? Perhaps it’s bane you’re thinking of, which persists after the AoE stun and will kill dps in gamma if they don’t have at least 25k hp.
