Gaming Chair Recommendations?

Hi All,
Looking to purchase a gaming computer chair, and just looking for suggestions of what to get. I am primarily looking to buy from Amazon.
Let me know what ya’ll think!
Provide links if you can, please!

I use a recliner. It’s amazing.

I really like this gaming chair, it actually felt more comfy than a few $300 model office chairs at Staples.

I got one from ficmax through amazon. It came with everything needed to assemble. I am not a handywoman but did put it together myself and it hasn’t fallen apart yet. it reclines and comes with a foot rest. It has an adustable neck pillow as well as a lumbar support pillow, both of which are nice.

I have hip issues though, and the design of the seat of the chair exacerbates that so while I love the chair overall I may need to look for one that’s not a racing chair.

I use a recliner desk chair. They are pretty slick. In all honesty I don’t play enough for it to matter anyway!

I use a wooden barstool. The discomfort keeps me aware and at peak performance. Combine with Mt. Dew for extra effect.

I’d recommend try before you buy. Go to Staples or any other office supply store to fine one you like and then order from Amazon or buy from the store you’re at.

I would avoid Secret Labs chairs at all costs. They’ll screw you over if you don’t like the chair. They don’t give full refunds and won’t cover shipping costs.

I have a Raynor Ergohuman chair that I’ve owned for quite some time. My friends who have sat in it really seemed to like it. One even bought one. My mom also bought one as well. You can buy them from the ErgoHuman website or Amazon. I like that the chair is mesh, so it breaths, which is nice living in Florida.

A former guildmate used to do this. He would also fall asleep in it while playing. lol

I would go for a high quality office chair over a gaming chair. They are better for your body and, to me at least, are much easier on the eyes.

I use a steelcase Leap. There are others out there.

One thing that has really made a difference, if you like to recline a bit, is a monitor arm. The screen can get closer to you without competing with the keyboard and mouse for space at the front of your desk.

Devoko racing gaming chair only $70 on Amazon. Adjustable seat with headrest. Never look back.

I think the industry has caught on to this, and the latest gaming chair designs are starting to become just as good as office chairs. As I mentioned in my own post, after sitting in all the chairs, the one that felt best to me ended up being a gaming chair even over the more expensive managerial office chairs, which surprised me. You can find many many gaming chairs with lumbar support and the like now.

So more than ever, it’s important to sit in the chairs yourself and make your decision that way.

I use a giant exercise ball, I usually grab that, head down stairs and tell the wife I’m working out, but end up 2 hours ganking people in STV

Avoid any office chairs that have that fake leather look to them. They arent meant for lounging in and that thin layer will eventually begin to peel off.

lol I’ve actually used one at a friends house and it was pretty comfortable. You can even get them with a rolling base and back.

One of the ones that sort of bows into your lower back and leans back on a spring. Posture problems are a thing and they’re more serious in the long term than we expect.

Ahh very cool! they are good for posture anyway, as an old bugger I find I need to be careful because I sit looking at screens all day keeping a gas plant running and this ball helps my back…I will check this one out for sure though thanks Thorland

Don’t get a “gaming” branded chair. For the most part they are overpriced for their quality and comfort. Get a regular comfortable office chair.

Happy to help! They are really good on the back. I too sit a lot all day and might consider getting one for work. lol Good thing is I don’t think anyone in my office would want to sit at it.
