Of course. Just not a fair share of new stuff. And I REALLY don’t care about e-celebs.
On further inspection, though, changing my Best Royale to writing in Totally Accurate Battlegrounds.

Complacency with accepting WoW not being good on launch, is just like Bethesda games not being good on launch. That’s never a good excuse to pass off nor accept as the norm.
There’s been an abundance of issues that have and haven’t been addressed since Legion. Many of which, fallen on deaf ears, ignored, or not acknowledged. WoW used to be the best MMO back in the day by fact. Nowadays, it’s more so opinion.
Though, I still think anyone voting for WoW as the best Fan Favorite MMO is a part of the problem. You don’t scorn someone and then vote them for an award as being the best out there. That’s contradictory on its self when compared to the rest of the competition such as ESO and FF14. Which, both developers treat their community far better than what we get here.
I do play FF14 and I quite frankly enjoy it very much more than BfA. Is FF14 better overall? Somewhat, it is. Is WoW better than FF14? Considering the changes that came in from 7.3 to where WoW is now, no, it’s not. Was Legion better than FF14? Oh yeah, it was til the last 10 months.
Blizzard doesn’t deserve the reward. Nomination, yeah, I agree they should be nominated but definitely not win the reward.
Guess what, you don’t have to have a sub to continue posting right now.
Wondering why this thread isn’t ‘pinned’. It’s about to get lost on GD!!
P.S. I voted and will be watching!
This might kind of backfire for Blizzard:
I mean, read the room much?
First, CM’s are NOT Customer Service Reps (aka CSR’s); they have entirely different job duties and skill requirements.
Second, They have literally said they are listening and bringing the feed back to the Dev’s. They are doing their jobs. The frustration that Im seeing all over the GD is that you guys want them to respond to every post you deem “important”. What many are not fully grasping is that they cant do that without the Dev’s approval. They can not relay information they do not have or information that has not been approved to pass on to the public. Just because they do not respond doesnt mean that the devs arent working on the problem you brought to their attention through the CM’s. Yes that is very frustrating when you feel you arent being heard, but that just isnt the case. Ive noticed a lot of blue responses stating that they are listening, relaying the info and encouraging us to continue discussing the issue at hand as detailed as possible to help them fix the issue. It takes time to evaluate problems, formulate solutions, get approval for fixes, implement changes if approved or go back to the chopping block if not approved and start all over again… Sometimes what we deem as an easy fix, just isnt the case.
Lol they probably want it to get lost.
Sure go ahead and compare FO76 to WoW, that’ll totally make your argument valid (it doesn’t). My argument wasn’t for wow, but for MMOs. You’re playing in a massive world, there are a ton of ideas that can’t be fully implemented. It sometimes takes time for that pacing to hit home. The trick is, you buy in, and then you can stop. You don’t have to buy 2 years at a time, you don’t have to buy a 6 month set, you can purchase month to month and quit when you want. The game is naturally going to evolve over time. FYI, the same truth exists for every MMO out there, WoW is the only one that does it right. FFXIV came out so bad that they had to scrap the entire thing. Is it a close second to WoW? Cool, it’s a shiny brand new game compared to WoW and can only barely shine a light to something that is 14 years old.
Where is FO76 mentioned?
My argument does stand and you’re providing my point of accepting bad launches because it’s a norm of the developer.
You can like and hate something and still continue to play, hoping things get better.
Scrape the entire thing to remake it and the game is suddenly on par and a competitor to WoW in its own degree, variable by personal interest.
Runescape should be up there in the Fan Favorite Category if you’re trying to justify length of time in existence.
World of Warcraft deserves to be nominated but it does not deserve the reward. The development team and changes since 7.3 do not warrant it a worthy victor when it’s competitors are doing better overall.
I hope Wow loses, I want the game to finish last place so that it can maybe wake up those thumb twiddlers at Blizzard who forgot to actually make this expansion fun with epic quests and a storyline that we can follow through well created cinematics in the zone we are questing in just like in legion.
We can see not much love was put into BFA compared to all the other expansions even draenor had more love put into it…
It’s literally players votes only, and they will show the statistics lol…
So you don’t agree with the issues being present on the lists? I don’t get it. Are you new to World of Warcraft?
Why would I be new just because I don’t agree with all your issues. I have played over 8 years.
And I am not going to make a new post to respond to you - but really I wouldn’t have discussed this with you in detail anyway because that wasn’t the purpose of this thread.
I will not even go anymore into this. If you have been playing this long and don’t see these/those issues, then goodbye.
Nevertheless, expect them I do. If one would debate with me then one must bring more to the table than roflmao and ad hominem
Steven Sondheim sends his regards.
FFXIV was boring, though.
Looking at the other games on the list I think it would be hard for WoW not to win.
I found an article that states the wow player population was around 7 million in April. Next highest by population was Elder Scrolls with 3 million.
If they lose the when the second highest MMO has less than have the player population it would be an embarrassment for the WoW team.
Personally I am not going to vote for WoW because I would not vote for the game because I do not enjoy my class or the azerite armor system.
Here is the list:
Fan Favorite MMORPG
World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth
The Elder Scrolls Online
Maple Story 2
Lineage II: Revolution
Black Desert Online
EVE Online
Final Fantasy XIV
YeT yOuRe StIlL hEre…
Jeez us, this saying gets old.
I couldn’t care less either way with WoW but I have a paid up sub until March and will continue to play as I see fit. That’s just me personally. But I’m sure there are others out there in my situation that aren’t happy about it at all. I welcome their opinions just as I welcome people in support of BfA. However, this asinine comment usually irks me.
Just thought I’d share
Isn’t it weird though that WoW is the only one listed by the expansion name? They probably would get a better result if they dropped the Battle for Azeroth part.
Edit: Oops, Lineage II lists it as well.
