I recently had another issue with the Blizzard launcher that has been solved, but part of the solution was to update my GPU and VPU drivers, since doing that the game now takes at least 5 minutes to show up after hitting “play” from the launcher or even using the wow.exe file from the wow folder. After the game finally shows up on the desktop things seems to be ok, but the game now no longer recognizes my 6750M dedicated GPU and only sees the onboard Intel 3000.
I have all of my laptop performance setting at maximum performance in every aspect, the power plan, the Intel graphics settings, and the ATI graphics settings, I also added every wow and blizzard exe file to the switchable graphics profiles under performance. The game is now a bit jittery, almost like an input delay since this all started happening. I can see both drivers in the hardware manager but even disabling the Intel driver didn’t swap it to the ATI. Any ideas?
