Game latency or my internet?

Since roughly this past Friday I’ve had major internet issues like spiking up to 10k latency out of nowhere. Then sometimes during combat the game will freeze or it will act like I have 20,000 latency… I don’t know if this is the game/blizzard having issues or is this my internet…
Another thing I don’t know is, why would I have 35 ms 95% of the time and then go do lets say, Floodgate mythic and then the game will freeze or I’ll shoot up to 3k latency and combat will skip around for the entire dungeon.
Does anybody else have this issue in dungeons where all of a sudden latency will just shoot up out of nowhere?

Good chance War within wasn’t optimized very well as it’s not just you who’s getting hit by crazy lag. I do too at times for no reason even in old zones

I know that, but my issue started late Friday

i’ve been getting crazy lag.

…and framerate drops. massive, MASSIVE, framerate drops. usually in the main cities, like stormwind.

Ive been having issues here and there where I press a key and nothing happens for a second or so. Was getting kind of annoying.

It’s the game, my internet is excellent and I get random spikes when doing dungeons and delves, seems to happen the most during peak time so its probably people overloading the servers briefly.

Can you do an internet test? Ookla has a good one

oh thats bc they have all there energy focused on the RWF guilds so they dont have lag, when the race is over you will see a huge difference was like this last RWF as well soon it was over lag was gone

I had issues like this for months that popped up out of seemingly nowhere.

Turned out it was an issue with my wifi range extender getting interfered with when certain electrical appliances were being run in the house. Mostly the microwave oven.

Thought it was worth mentioning.

Yet Blizz keeps linking servers… I get it’s nice to play with friends from another server but kinda annoying when it adds too many people at one time on said server and lags everyone
