Bad news for you. Classic is full of bugs that weren’t fixed in retail until BC, so they are enshrined for posterity. In addition, Blizzard has made a great many subtle and not-so-subtle changes when implementing classic that have had a big impact on enjoyability of game play.
And then there are the new bugs that haven’t been fixed.
Classic is a mess.
