Best off nowadays just not even discussing strategies. I could see someone reporting you for calling them afk if they thought they were giving their best. I think the reporting system is overkill as is a ban but people are sensitive. I just don’t mess with bad players as they are also still generally bad in the rounds I don’t have them but it is frustrating as healer because you get them more than the dps will. 2000 games is a lot of games.

I said in a thread months ago many of these problems could have been solved if Blizzard gave people the option to automatically mute themselves and teammates upon entering the solo shuffle - unchangeable once inside - and gave people a menu option that lets them communicate a target or make a swap to target.
I ground good ratings this season when I was prohibited from speaking, let people see that the player is muted, and give them the option to mute otherwise it has to be assumed the designers are too lazy to do this or are power-tripping on banning people.
Also perhaps implement a “ping” system that allowed for a message to show up on DPS players’ screens when a healer is pinging their intention to use a CD on the DPS, similar to a raid warning.
I would prefer to have solo shuffle mute option as well. Since people rarely listen or even stick to targets that they themselves call out it is borderline pointless to have casual chatter. I suppose they could argue that you could meet potential teammates through shuffle but your idea of a mute button should be implemented.
Idk on what garbage rating you all play but in my games people never talk outside of “go XY?” and “sure”. Maybe sometimes something like “swap on heal after cocoon”.
Then they go on that target.

I will give this anti-troll bait to you, where AWC winner healer gets the same toxic treatment from RSS players as pretty much every other healer in-game, there is no safe rating where there aren’t any trolls.

I don’t know but OP was throwing solo shuffle games on PTR lmao. Sounds like from others he does it on live too. If anything he should get silenced/banned because he’s a tool.

The system seems to be working fine as we can see you being abusive in chat. Moreover, they only provide a SAMPLE of things you MIGHT’VE said to trigger reports.

The circumstances surrounding your personal adolescence does not give you a free pass to use abusive language towards others, especially on property that 1.) does not belong to you and 2.) has required that you AGREE to not use abusive language.

calling someone boosted isnt abusive, regardless of if its true or not. At this point i guess we should just start handing out bans to people who suspect cheating of any kind since its clearly so abusive to suggest such things
Rule of thumb, If its not a personal real life threat, or a blatant slur it shouldnt be punished
If its calling someone trash at the game, or boosted, thats called banter, and theres an ignore button for that reason people seem to always forget that
harassment is its own thing as well, if you persistently trash talk the same person and go out of your way to do so even after theyve ignored you thats abusive as well, the fixation a person would have to possess to do something like that can very easily become a real life threat if not handled properly
