Gallywix's death was comical

I am not disputing that. From my understanding most Goblins only are invested in their crew or cartel. Anyone on the outside of that does not matter. Which is why Undermine is such a cutthroat place. Which is why it was meaningful that the cartels came together for a little while.

What set Gallywix apart is that he was supposed to care about all the crews/ cartel because he is the top of that food chain. The cartels have their trade princes but at the end those princes report to Gallywix. So if you are the head of a society that cares about their crews/ cartels then you should care about them as well. Gallywix was only for himself which is against that ethos.

That’s a false premise. Gallywix was in charge of Darkfuse Cartel, and he took care of them.

The other cartels in Undermine were resources he was exploiting, much the same way Bilgewater was exploiting their troll slaves on Kezan.

We are talking about the starter zone and he was head there. He also left us to die as well. Gallywix was always written to be a terrible unlikeable characters. He is suppose to be awful. Why defend him when he is what he was made to be.

Agreed, players were not slavers in the storyline, but Gallywix was

I doubt he is dead. Why else would he in Tazavesh? That dude has insurance on everything, including his life and soul.

If by “took care of” you mean worked them to death and lured goblins to be his willing slaves and meat shields for the hollow promise of riches and power, then yeah, he totally took care of them.

The Darkfuse (formerly Blackfuse Company that we kind of dismantled during Siege) that Gallywix used were just muscle he extorted or bribed for control all the same, as you see with Nikki who was given a “promotion” and a shiny gun and then used as fodder to try and stop the player and he didn’t even blink.

He’s terrible and unlikable because Goblins were terrible and unlikable.

He’s just the most gobliny goblin.

He didn’t just back her though. He showed her the azerite to begin with.

So? She was his direct superior.

He even framed it as “we can use this resource for the good of the Horde” not “We can use this resource to kill every living thing in Azeroth so you can funnel all the souls to megahell for power”

Killing everyone was Sylvanas’s idea, and he didn’t even know that was the goal until everyone else did.

I’m not saying most of it wasn’t her doing. But he did a bit more than follow orders.

Venture for sure but the other neutral goblins were good to the players. The Horde would not have as much tech as it does without them. They were not terrible and unlikable. Gallywix is all their worst traits without any of the good ones.

He should have died in Cata.

He still backed her until the whole “Horde is nothing” fiasco happened, then he scuttled away to make his own personal army.

Merely a setback

So he was the last to jump ship. That just means he’s loyal.

Gallywix is a terrible person, but he’s also a goblin and being amoral profit junkies is their whole identity.

Nah. He did the same thing with Garrosh. He stuck with Garrosh until it was made clear his personal safety was on the line, then he swapped sides to save his own skin.

The irony is that the goblins he used to protect himself and extort everyone else were the same goblins that worked under Garrosh.

Again, that’s just showing loyalty to his leader\employer.

Being the last person to betray someone doesn’t make them loyal.

He only served himself as literally nothing he did was for anyone else but his own gain and power.

Example with Azerite? He was already mining and weaponizing it before he even introduced it to the Horde and his whole thing was to profit off of it. He wasn’t giving weapons to the Horde for free, he was selling it.

Can we find him in the shadowlands and crush him again with a giant boat?

Asking for a friend.

I’m pretty sure the “Arbutter” Will be sending him to Revendreth and the time I spent there reassures me the Accuser will take good care of him.

Nah nah. His chins would get stuck and would clog the system again.
