I posted this to customer support a little while ago and was referred to post it here instead.
I came in a little late to the patch and unlocked my Gallagio rewards reputation late after having cleared the raid at least 1 time. As stated in the title, I am currently proceeding at 1 renown level per week when I read that there is a catch up. Additionally I started at renown 0. Are there any known fixes currently?
I am also having an issue with renown catch up. It is posted that there is a sliding scale of increased rep gain but I appear to be gaining regular amounts of rep. This allows me to gain 2 renown per week until i hit the renown cap which would take longer than is left in the patch’s lifespan.
It’s bugged in many ways, I’ve been stuck at 3 renown for weeks now can’t even gain rep from killing any bosses on any difficulty on all my characters. Been stuck at renown 3 600/2500. A lot of threads about it and blizzard won’t do anything. I have friends who hadn’t cleared the raid at all and got to renown 10 after 1 full clear

I don’t recall reading the specifics of how the catch up works or when it kicks in. Half the raid is 1 renown so if you’re behind are you supposed to get 2 from the full?
That sounds like it could be related to the reset and fixes they applied during maintenance, not the catch up.
Yup. I’m having a problem too. It’s sadly going to be a looong time until hitting 20. And Blizz is basically saying “tough s***” to those who have been completing the raid every week and got 0 renown because of this awful bug. This patch has been awful and buggy and unfortunately not much is being done about it.
