During maintenance today, we made changes to correct the Gallagio Loyalty Rewards Club bug that resulted in some players exceeding the current intended cap of Renown level 9.
With fixes that are now live:
Renown
All players who were above the Gallagio Loyalty Rewards Club current Renown level cap of 9 have been reduced to 9.
To address the inconsistent advantage this issue provided to many players, all players who had any progress on the Gallagio Loyalty Rewards Club Renown track have been advanced to level 9.
The raid buff Loyal Customer and the movement speed buff Time is Money have been removed from all characters, and the relevant quests can be recompleted from Paula Piranha in The Incontinental Hotel.
Any obtained Furious Flarendo and Darkfuse Compactor mounts will be unusable to players until they reach the appropriate levels of the Rewards Club.
The High Roller title and Hero’s Path teleportation spell will be unusable to players until they reach the appropriate level of the Rewards Club.
Please note: Renown quests need to be re-completed from Paula Piranha. You may need to delete your existing Gallagio Loyalty Card: Silver (in your bags) in order for the first quest in the chain to become completable.
Thank you very much for your patience and understanding!
So can you now plz fix the Hall of Fame AV? We rekilled the last three and still didn’t get the AV and the Ticket System AI just tells us that only 200 Guilds can be in the HoF…
idk about this… i been stuck at lvl 7 for at least 3 weeks now and ive done the raid on main or alt each week. i just logged into to see and im still at lvl 7. maybe im missing something
i dont think it affects me much anyway, but something is weird there
edit add - when i did log in it gave me a pop up that i am lvl 9 now but when i opened the ui its saying 7 still.
didnt fix it and i went to the renown vendor to check if i can do the rank 8 50% discount things from topskinner and he doesnt have it. not sure whats up but it hasnt moved in a couple weeks but it did give me that popup today when i first logged on.
ah well not anything im hard up for renown for but just an observation
Almost like some of us don’t raid because we don’t like raid lockout systems design.
I raid led multiple pugs to AOTC in s1, but avoided entirely mythic raiding because instance ID. It got old having to play the timegate instead of the game itself, and not interested in re-engaging if ultimately we’re steered to instance ID.
Sweetening the rewards won’t work on me. It’s an accessibility problem and unfun to play the lockouts instead of the game itself.
Some of us want to simply play on our own terms and prefer pugging, and keeping guilds social rather than existing to negotiate around playing timegate systems.
