Seeing as Dragonflight is shaping up to be the “Life” expansion Galakrond is a decent choice for a villain since he’s basically a undead/decay dragon who wanted to consume all life…
But yeah he seems more like a pawn in someone else’s plans than the main villain.

I don’t think Jaina could be a Dreadlord. With the amount of Demon Hunters lurking she would have to have plot armor far more invincible than Sylvannas
They could maybe have us fight someone that works for Galakrond while he periodically breaths fire over the encounter area, with the fight taking place in front of a weapon that can be used to kill him. Once we beat the boss a Galakrond then gets killed in a cutscene.
Or we could just use a Gnomeish shrink ray before the fight 
medivh was still sargeras when he called upon jaina during wc3, it was also a ruse to convince tyrande to let illidan free so that he could consume the skull of guldan and create a demon hunter army which jaina would eventual take control over once illidan was out of the picture.
edit: antonidas knew jaina was a dreadlord and his affinity towards her was hiding her innocence from her own truth. She only learnt she was a dreadlord until recently, prior to antonidas’ death to arthas she was completely under his spell.
further edit: medivh is actually the primus, and he let sargeras into his mother so that he could play three tiered chest against sargeras, all in a ploy to put jaina, the dreadlord at the mantle of a demon hunter army.
This is actually a very interesting idea.

ps I’d bite jaina any night of the week if such were to prevent her from her eventual turning into a dreadlord.
I think I’m Galakrond’s case as a boss we could either put Gnomish and Goblin tech together to make mech suits like the Light Suits from Legion and have that as a phase in the fight. In the first phase we have the mech suits and fight his adds and him. The next phase the suits burn out and he basically devour all of us in like a wind tunnel effect/ black hole and we have to destroy his insides without becoming infected. And in the final phase we get assistance from the dragons and the aspects that didn’t get devoured. Maybe that could work

I cannot think of a galakrond boss fight playing as anything but that scene in “how to train your dragon” cannot rememeber if it was the first or the 2nd. The outcry from the fanbase at blizzards “unoriginal” crafting of a huge dragon fight would be glorious.
Nah sylvannas will be end boss but this time she will be a dragon. She will be driven blame by arthas’ fart in the wind and want her vengeance. And then she will learn from her mistakes and everyone will forgive her and she will lead the universe. The end.
That would be a surprising outcry since almost nothing from Blizz, specifically WoW is original and it takes ideas from everywhere and put it in a melting pot.
