I got three today, relogged and now none drop. Have killed over 20 rares since the relog not one of them has dropped anything and the tether doesn’t go away after killing them.

The “To The Test: Concentrated Sophic Vellum” quest also appears to be bugged. When using the “Shalasar’s Sophic Vellum”, it consumes the Awakeneds, but it does not give progress for the quest.

Yep, broken…17 weeks to get the legendary, now blocked again…lol

I use the rune to attach myself to rares and after killing them I don’t receive the items for the quest. First day of getting Legendary, got everything except i need except 0/50 Taut Tethercoil which is bugged.
I have the same problem, I can’t complete the mission that asks for 50 drops of rares, I’m at 0/50 all day. Fix pls ???

Same thing, Seems pretty common at this point.
Blizzard responded to some girl on twitter stating they know of the bug and looking into hotfixing it.

Another Bug to report but Same girl has discovered the trigger and a workaround for the bug.
The Quest “To the Test: Enchanted Sophic Vellum” is bugged where it will consume your Awakened Elements and not award you the 5%
She discovered that the bug is triggered when you have something targeted then use the Extra Action button. To keep getting progress you need to un target EVERYTHING and then use the Vellum and your elements.

just to back up what pally is saying i found the tweet http s://imgur.com/a/4pLKPLF but doesn’t confirm that they are looking at it just hoping it gets hotfixed which is lame considering this legendary is a massive thing to have hardlocked because of tons of bugs.
They mentioned they’re taking a look at it in the post before your screenshot.

Bugged for me as well. Killed 10+ rares with tether active and getting no drops.
Same bug for me. Have killed 4. Followed tips on wowhead to try to avoid issue, but no luck
