Update - People are now able to do the assault on Sargeras but nobody is getting the Draconic Treasures. 
I know hotfixes for the day have already happened and this is still an issue with the Draconic Treasures not being awarded.
Bumping because this is still an issue 36 hours post launch.
Idk but seeing “Blizzard” or “activision” on someones resume would be a red flag to not hire imo

Umm dude I dont think you understand.
Its bugged in a way that you complete it faster. Since the progress is stuck at 100% the chest is always up. 5min and you get your weekly loot. take advantage before they fix it
If it stuck at 100% that just means the chest has spawned. You kill mobs by the chest till you get 3 Epic Keyes. Took me about 2-5min no joke. Then you use the keys to open the chest. You can loot it once a week
So no its 100% on working (getting your loot) its just the bugged versions are almost instant. Once blizz fixes this you will have to progress the bar and farm the keys. So get on all ur toons get in and get out. Collect your free loot before Blizz fixes it and turns it into a 30min per toon event like the others
between layering, respawns and intense fire graphics, the area of the assault is a freaking lag-fest. and the “reward” was, to be kind, underwhelming, especially since this is the beginning of the patch and we are doing these things to gear up…

I’m 2 for 3 on the event boss showing up so far.
And that would pretty much guarantee me skipping this event entirely.

What’s even the desires gameplay, if they somehow fixed the lag?
It’s just constant in-combat zerging enemies?
How is this the result of months of work?
I see myself never doing another one of these.
I was u able to get any completion on the quest yesterday, today finished them all. Fixed for me.
It’s just not even fun on-paper.
If they fixed everything it’s still lazy content.
