You’re forgetting the 233 Bow, or the 125 Wrathion BFA cape. Maybe even the HoA, which btw the HoA hasn’t had its effects disabled outside of sl and dragon isles, so it gives MUCH more hp than any other necklace in timewalking dungeons, while also having higher stats than most others and whatever azerite powrs you put in it.
A fully upgraded HoA also gives more hp than any other df necklace outside of SL and df zones, but without timewalking’s scaling you lose a lot of stats.
Azerite gear also hasn’t had it’s effects disabled, so why use quest rewards when we could just use that?
I don’t think he understands what we are talking about. He keeps referring to current gear while we are talking about time walking and other people have already tried explaining it to him… it’s a lost cause .
I noticed. but I was also really bored, so I didn’t really care lol.
I might look into timewalking BiS stuff. been thinking about it, just don’t think it’ll be worth the effort to get and grind out. I don’t do timewalking enough for it to be that worth for me, and I’ll do it even less if I manage to get that dragon to drop lol
I miss my Zereth Mortis hunter tier set where I could hit the top of the dps meter in timewalking with 2 buttons
I tried it for the first time today and I got half of my set, so it’s not really a grind. However I do realize I got super lucky and it’s still rng based. But if you do it for 5 weeks I’m sure you’ll get all of it. And as you progress you’ll still be more and more beneficial to the team as time goes on. Like I said though I can see why people wouldn’t want to. Time walking raids are a lot of fun for me so I just like feeling op even if it takes up bank slots haha
Here is a good place to start for anyone interested in this WoW gaming niche (such as myself):
Although I do not always agree with their Trinket suggestions ; also last patch seemed like it broke Dragonspine Trophy to only proc on melee hits… but I still find it very enjoyable; it is a microcosm of the game. Hope they fix the old Legendaries soon!
Good question. Things have changed a lot since they did the Chromie Time unsquish, and the gem bonuses from socketed gear from old raids don’t hold much weight anymore now that we have higher iLvls and primary stats when in timewalking.
I have tested the new Onyx Annulet effects, and they seem pretty scaled down in timewalking compared to how well they perform when not in timewalking.
I’d like for them to stop disabling set bonuses for old tier sets so we could potentially play with them in TW. And I’m pretty sure artifact weapons are basically junk now too.
I considered it because I do have a handful of legendaries from Wrath, Cata, MoP, etc. but then I figured, what’s the point, my 394 ilvl warrior feels pretty busted in TW dungeons as is.
