Who claimed rank 14 took actual pvp skills? That was never part of the deal. It was always whomever had the least life. Ranks in wow have never been about skill. In retail you can be carried to high ranks by someone who has the skill.

Can you point to the specific ruling? I mean it’s pretty off topic, but this thread doesn’t really have a point. R14 never took skill.

I got rank 13 on this guy in the old classic, and av was not better than a full premade AB or WSG if you always won. I was stuck doing AV for my last rank and had to put twice the time

I can’t believe this isn’t a bigger issue on the forums than it is. Yes I know there are a decent amount of complaints, but this system is so broken. Imagine in PVE where you could not only AFK to the best gear, but if you raided, it penalized you so it took longer to get that gear. That is basically what the pvp system is right now.

I get what you are saying, but even back in vanilla, there were HWLs who were noobs. HWL never required skilled…all it required was time. Lots and lots of time!
